Garnett one of the greatest to ever lace em up. With Garnett the Celtics may be unbeatable come playoff time.

garnett can bring the energy to the game if their down a few wit a minute 2 go or something. He brings that energy that you cant just find elsewhere...

Their only competition in the east would be Detroit. So lets compare the 2 teams.

PG-Rondo vs Billups advantage Detroit although Rondo is very good
SG-Ray Allen vs Hamilton advantage Boston
    SF-Pierce vs Prince advantage Boston
    PF-Garnett vs McDyess advantage Boston
    Center-Perkins vs Wallace advantage Detroit

    Bench-advantage detroit

I think the advantages of the middle 3 in the starting lineup for Boston will be too much for the Pistons. I predict Garnett will become a beast in the playoffs averaging 25 points a game and 12+ rebounds.

Celtics will need Garnett in April when the real season begins and teams actually start to play defense

I would take Rip over Allen. It is close but Rip is better defender and chasing him all around the court and avoiding screens can be a huge headache for the defense. Rip better overall player imo

I had the Knicks +9 last night vs the Celts and the Knicks lost by 8. I turned the tv off in the 3rd Q when the Knicks were down like 25 or something like that and said to myself fuk me, fukkkkk me. I come home and was stunned that they lost by only 8.
