Hi,

I'm wondering if anyone has experience with some of the better known UK/European books. They are great for arbing, and I'd like to know on which book I should concentrate. I already am using Bwin and Unibet...

Here are the questions I have :

- How quickly they honor withdrawals
- How quickly they will limit you : if you can give me an idea of the profit you have to accumulate before they limit you, it'd be great.
- How badly they will limit you : Bwin, for example, will limit you pretty quickly to $50 per bet, and it doesn't end there.
- How trustworthy they are (haven't had any problem with Bwin or Unibet so far).

I'm looking at :

- Ladbrokes
- Will Hill
- Blue Square
- Paddy Power
- Stan James
- Expekt
- Victor Chandler

Don't believe you will have any problems with any of the ones you listed concerning payouts, I used Will Hill years ago but the vig is quite high and funding methods were limited.

You should definitely include Canbet in your list (low vig) and perhaps Bet365 - although some here will tell you Bet365 will limit you once you start winning/losing big.

You won`t get any problems getting your money out,you`ll just have to deal with the limits which won`t take long,from the list i would imagine Paddy Power will limit you first at best probably about 6 bets.

i use bet365,never had a prob with limits or payout(12-24hrs to my click2 pay acct) i also use betsson,again never aproblem,same deal within 24 hors to myc2p acctalso they have poker ,sportbook, exchange,and financial trader all in one

Vanman his in the uk and he knows,so listen to him,they will not give you any problems with payments because THEY MAKE SURE not to have to pay out much.People whom do not have a problem with the U.K. books for limits are those whom do not win much (if at all)!
Others whom loses all the time and do not have a problem with their account being either shutdown or limited to a ridiculous among witch have for effect to prevent them the capability of a come back are the "geniuses" witch are reloading their account with more money out of their pockets.Read the reviews and testimonies not only on SBR but in a multitude of review sites and they will all tell you the same thing over and over again,i would STRONGLY suggest to you to keep away from them,since THERE IS SO MUCH BETTER OPTIONS OUT THERE!!

British books are far easier to beat than offshore books. The vig isnt important when the line is so far out of date.

They will limit online bets quite quickly but will still take decent size bets over the phone.

Those that complain are just too lazy to make a call.

William Hill are the best of the bunch

They all will put you on some ridiculously long delay at first, and they will limit you to phoning in your wagers. As an arb type player that isn't an advantage at all, but rather a big disadvantage.

Make sure you make copy of all your wagers at Stan James after you place them, they may delete it!

however i would also recommend Matchbook and Tradesports.They cater to american sports more and i find that tradesports and matchbook websites to be more user friendly.

The only one I would be wary of is Blue Square. They were going to take a big hit this weekend on an opening offer. They reacted by voiding all bets made using the "free" bet and refusing to credit accounts with any free bet at all. Basically, as long as you are not looking for a bonus of any kind you should be fine.

True, arbers are not welcome at European bookies. Once they recognize your betting pattern you will be limited hard.

Betfair is horrible for usa sports

it is mainly for tennis, soccer and horses

UK books are well run and much safer than American Offshore books

Very good book that not many people seem to talk about much on the forms these days. I mean just recently they revamped their horse racing limits to some of the highest out there. Not to mention -107 for NBA and MLB is pretty nice in your book rotation if you like wagering on U.S. sporting events.
