Night after night I have bets hanging on what happens in the final minute of the game in basketball. And these final 30 to 60 seconds always stretch out to eternity. Well, 15 minutes anyway. This doesn't happen in any other sport. Why basketball?

too many 20 seconds timeout. maybe lessen the timeouts during the last 2 minutes will help.

basketball is kinda boring to bet, but after football. Guess there's nothing else to bet. I can't stand hockey, don't know much about golf or tennis.

The final 2 minutes in football takes a good 15 minutes if the game is close. If the game is a blow out it doesn't matter. Baskets is the same. If the score is 108 to 82 the final 30 seconds takes about a minute.

I agree about basketball limit a team to 2 timeouts each in the final 2 minutes and one being a 30.

Football is the same - there is more action in the last 2 minutes then the two quarters prior. Basketball is boring until the last 4-5 minutes when two equal teams are playing.
