I would gladly pay for a good service but I do not know of any good services.

Once. A college and pro package for one football season,$549.00.
It was a poor investment and I will not repeat that mistake again.

About 10 year ago I did. After about a month he kept trying to get me to bet more than would be prudent with any money management system. It like he was trying to make me wrk for him with each pick there was a charge win or lose that needed to be paid before the game. I eventually told him to go pound sand. Lost about 15,000

not yet, but i'm always tempted out of curiosity just to see how they do. i visit a few sites and check free plays at them, some actually don't do too bad with their free picks. i've had a couple give me a free weekend or a week of picks, usually they've lost, i think one time someone came out about +3 units.

Yes about 15 years ago. It was Jim Fiest, and believe me he couldn't pick his away out of a paper bag. I ended up getting the money paid to him refunded due to poor performance but was still out the coin I bet. First time I ever did that, and last time. His gang cold called me about 6 months later and I have never heard another thing from him after I finished reaming the MotherF*ckers out.

No.
I had a friend who started a tout service about 15 years back. He didn't really know all that much about sports, and wasn't even really that interested. He likes Vegas. He is a heckuva businessman. He can sell ice to eskimos. He did very well with that business for several years, as far as his income was concerned. I don't think his picks were setting the world on fire though. Then he just closed the shop and moved on. I think it was more work than he wanted to do.
Anyway, watching him in that venture confirmed what I already suspected about touts.

Nope.
If anyone is interested in doing it, why not just scan the SBR homepage and use the free tout picks? I'm sure that'll be enough to get any idea of actually paying for a service out of your head!

back in 2002 I paid like 60 bucks a month and these guys were like over 62% in College basketball... All their plays were posted on their website and you could track their record. They retired I think and closed down the site.
I think they were millionaires. It stated on their site that they were playing the picks of course as selling their service

I did in November before I had ever bet on basketball because of the...."amazing 35-10 run over the last 14 days"...ended up using them for about 3 days then noticed that on they would add one loss to their record for every 2 or 3 they had.

Used a site called sisyndicate.com about 10 years ago. They were average at best, but it was always amazing how their monthly numbers never jived with the stats that I was keeping, as they would always lop a few losses off their total and hope nobody noticed. The usual some and ladders.
That, plus the always convenient "Last night was a noplay as the line never moved to our recommended spread" when of course it would do exactly that (Amazing how I never saw a "no play" recap on a game that would have ended up being counted as a win).....

you can also find him at ***********.com (you will find most touts on the service play thread for the day) Why pay to get pics. he runs the forums and live chat. There are 4 people that honestly kill halfers... I mean like when your down and out like JJ you go sit in there and they bring you back to .500.
I paid 1 month to brandonlang.com after watching two for the money...yeah laughs...then I found above forums where I got service plays for free and walla was good to go. Now we just fade lang. Its like fading JJ insta win.

I paid 100 for a week of picks, giving me one a day, from jonathan stone a while back. Went 6-1, all 6 wins were in college basketball and the lone loss was NBA. Bankroll more than tripled. However, now he wants a ridiculous amount of money so i'm going back to doing it on my own. More fun that way anyway

Once when I was about 19/20 a tout called. Somehow I was dumb enough to Western Union him $50. he said he would give me some hockey picks. I sent the money and could never get through to him. The lady said he was busy everytime I called. I guess it was a cheap lesson.

3 years ago. i was curious about touts, so i called teh free number for the stealers-pats game. the tout started off, "pats is good, but that is a lot of points to cover..." and then he moved on talking about 5 star picks for sunday. i told him that i'll call him back later...he wasn't too happy about that. for some reason i took the pats spread that day, pats won, but did not cover. after the game, i was like, wow, this dude is right, but i remember reading the SI article about how touts giving out different picks for two groups, so i guess i was in the lucky group that got the winning picks that day.
he called me like everyday after that for like 2 weeks. i never answer the phone from them, and they stop calling after a while.
well, technically i never paid for any tout service, but i sort got a free pick from them.

if you think he is the real deal, you should get all your gambling buddies together and pool all your money together to pay for his picks. he'll never you how many people you tell

those touts are squares dot cam. you can find a select few on here that are winning a good percentage per each game. But of course the best way to win is to do your hw and make your own picks.
