Please come back bud, help the rest of us restore some sanity around here, and continue our good discussions on SPORTS. You know I have no problem with JJ, he's from my hometown, but jesus christ, this place has turned into the JJ Gold show.

It was always the JJGold show. You just never knew all the actors.

Imgv94 is a shame that left. Same as pags11. Who knows Pac10 now? We are doomed.

I didn't know IMG left for the EOG. Did he make a announcement? I thought he loved this place.

Pretty soon this place will turn to the jerry springer show.

    Sad.

Hopefully most of the veterans that made SBR what it was, are just waiting for the dust to the settle. I know Gabe loved this place, he started here, before the prescription and everything. He was the one that welcomed me over here, even talked to him off the board, and he gave me the heads up on some stuff. Really nice kid from San Diego. I didn't know he had a dispute, I did however read that he was unhappy here, he still visits, just not as often. Pags I believe will be back in August for NCAA Football. I posted in his announcement thread. If it wasn't for him, and my betus problem, I never would've found SBR.

This ties into our other discussion. If you read that thread you see kids talkin/moanin/bitchin/cryin abt chump change.

Those zit tirades put off the real players. The ones who might be willing to offer a helpful word. I know a couple of players who stop in once in a while from 2+2, etc. They just won't stick around and help because of the kindergarden crowd.

They are not kids. Think of it as an Austin Powers movie. Mike Myers was a genious.

    Kat,

I'm always one to criticize this forum as I see fit, but if you're telling me someone from 2+2 avoids this forum on account of disliking kindergarten mentalities I guess they prefer pre-K? Have you ever read 2+2? It's like an assortment of underage kids and college kids who got hooked on poker once it blew up on ESPN. Everything is "eff you noob, eff you n00bzers" over there.

    Crazy,

We can agree to a point. I research 2+2, but not for the poker. Yes, their poker and casino is pretty weak except at certain limit levels of poker. I read them for legislative info and for sportsbetting info. Mainly, props. In their sportsbetting area--they have some major talent. Just like here, you have to look for it.

That is so true crazyl. I quit being involved with 2+2 YEARS ago. If you love drama generally created by the smallest of small timers and/or egomaniacal maniacs with no regard for bankroll management, then 2+2 would be like heaven. There's no place too juvenile and uneducated for the regulars on 2+2 nowadays save perhaps covers...

Hey, BB. We usually agree and we know what we are talkin abt in the decline of the forum over last 2 months. Just go back one year ago to this time. Tell me there wasn't more sophisticated traffic at this site??

By the way, I had the Natural at Binions two weeks ago. Awesome as ever.

Can't say I blame the guy for not wanting to be around here. This place is getting to be unbearable with all the people posting plays and incessantly bumping their threads after picking a couple winners. That certainly wasn't what this place was about several months back, but now it seems most posters want their c*ck sucked after a few winning tickets. It would also be nice if people could actually start threads relevant to the particular subforum, meaning 1/2 the threads in "Players Talk" shouldn't be dedicated to posters' NCAAB picks. Keep that sh*t in the college hoops forum. I guess it's inevitable that more traffic to the site would result in a drop in quality, but that doesn't mean it isn't frustrating to see what this forum's becoming.

It has always been like that and imgv has been one of the most prominent people here to have done it. Even resorting to creating ghost accounts who manage to get together a good short term winning record (Dr. Phil anyone?). Problem is that some people see themselves as an almighty being - but once no-one seems to give a crap about them, they throw their toys out of their pram and stop posting. Like pags11.

I dont know about IMGV, I always thought he was okay. But your right about alot of people here. They are desperate for attention, and if they dont get it they either throw a fit and leave, or at least threaten to.I can think of at least 5 off the top of my head that made the big, Im leaving and never coming back threads, but yet they are all back.

Hey taco, where can I get that Burger King/Ronald McDonald shooting avatar owned had? I wont use it here.

Just because a poster has a lot to say, doesn't necessarily mean he's an attention whore. Also, 14 different people so far give a shit enough to respond and ask where he is, that's pretty good IMO.

There ya are man. Don't let stupid people make you leave a place that you helped create. It seems a lot of veterans here have been doing that. If everyone sticks together, as a team, the strong will survive, the bullshitters will get tired of getting called out, and the new posters with value will appreciate the effort of everyone and will stay around. If you have time bro, drop me an email with your aim sn, i'll hit ya up. Esp, if you're not going to be around much. Keep your head up.

gyno is a good poster, but if those are the reasons hes leaving, eog wouldnt be his destination.
