Default IPhone 4 - What are the best betting apps?

I currently use ESPN ScoreCenter to get push notifications for games I bet. I've heard a lot about Sportacular, but the push notifications for that haven't worked since I downloaded it...

Any other good ones out there?

I use score mobile but I'm not sure it has push notifications.

My favourite iPhone betting apps are Bet365 or Paddy Power because they've full app rather than optimized sites. According to iPhone Betting these apps are only available in the UK and Europe because Apple do not allow gambling apps in the states.

espn seems to be the best for me. i just got an iphone 4, had a 3g. sportacular was the best for a long time but when yahoo took it over and updated it it has not worked as well. sports tap is another one i use from time to time. they have push notifications also but i have not tried it

The current one you have is the best out right now in the USA.

Up until recently I was using the Sportsbook.com iPhone betting apps. It's not a native app that can be downloaded from the App store, it's only a web app that can be used via the iPhones safari browser. Unfortunately, they've decided to stop accepting US players because of the FBI raids on PokerStars and Full Tilt.

There aren't very many US friendly iPhone apps so I had to do a bit of research. On the recommendation of iPhone Betting Apps I've been using Bookmaker.com for the past couple of weeks. The graphics are a little basic but the odds offerend are pretty good and I haven't had any problems depositing or withdrawing funds.

BetUS also have an iPhone optimized site that is US friendly but I have't tried that one yet.

Yeah I use the Paddy's app as well as the Betfair one.

If you like watching games mostly live (30-60 secs delayed in my experience) then the MLB.TV app is great...assuming you already subscribe to MLB.TV anyway and that you dont mind paying a few $$ for the App.

Not got the 2011 one but I think the 2011 one cost around £6 or £7 last year

Got my first iPhone a few weeks back so I've been trying out the various betting options. I tried out the native apps first like PaddyPower, Betfair and Ladbrokes that can be found in the App Store. For me the Ladbrokes app was my favourite because you can watch live horse racing on the app once you've placed a bet of £1 or more.

I was also very impressed with the web apps provided by Bet365 and William Hill. There was very little difference between native and web app functionality.

I also love watching live sports on the iPhone when I get a chance. Since ipHone don't support Flash you need to install a browser called Skyfire to watch flash videos. For full instructions I found this article Watch Sports on the iphone that explains it better than I can. Been very useful for the US open and Wimbledon this week.

MLB At Bat 11 is great if you bet baseball. Helps to be connected thru wifi though. You can listen to any game, and they even give you 1 free game a day that you can watch.

    Guys with the Sportacular App:

When you click something like NBA, it lists all the teams and game times...sometimes though, instead of having the game times it lists the spread/over under in green. i dont know if i misclick and it appears or what...but how do i get the odds up instead of game times???

iOdds does the job. Nothing fancy but you get current lines, opening lines, consensus/public picks (from where? I'm not sure.) and live scores while game is being played. As I said, no special features or fancy interface but, to quote an old TV show: "Just the facts, Ma'am."

Only question...for the random ncaabb games how good are they at updating the scores quickly? i usually have to go online to sportsnetwork because sportacular is so slow.

I bet several different sports and I hate having to thumb through different sport tabs to find my bets, so I use scores and odds app cause you can select any teams you want on all sports and they will be on one page for the day Everytime you check. It's really easy. I also like the fact that it show lines O/U and public bet %.

Score mobile actually updates at the exact same speed and within the exact same time frame as sbr live odds.

Have you guys tried Odds Insider yet? It's something me and a friend of mine actually worked on. We are new, but I think we have some cool stuff coming too. And we are about to sign a new deal to start providing some serious amounts of sports and data.
