I imagine they get thier numbers the same way everyone else gets theirs. How often they update thier lines, probably depends on how much action they get. IF they have very few players wagering on american sports, they likely don't spend much time checking/updating thier lines. I recall one book (the name escapes me) where they charge a crazy amoutn of vig, but then would never bother moving thier lines. So if there was a big line movement, you could pick them off.

I wonder if you can get good lines because of slow line changes?

I always used to find that Stan James and Bet365 were the slowest to move their lines on US sports.

The UK bookies tend to have much lower limits on US sports in relation to most $ offshore books. Also, the odds are sometimes...erm...odd.
At Ladbrokes you could often find a good price but then you find out that good odds are 3-way - win/lose/tie. It was a fixed 100-1 shot on a tie which reduced the value of the other odds. OK, the chance of getting a tie are remote but I sure as shit wouldn't like to risk it.
