This is my only play for the night. I believe there is more to Kobe's injury that the swollen pinky he claims. Until he proves me wrong I will keep betting against him. Howard will limit Gasol effectiveness the same way the less athletic Horford did a couple days ago in Atlanta. The triangle defense is not clicking yet for poor Pau and the Magic will answer with a barrage of threes from Lewis and a series of sportcenter highlights from Howards dunks. This play is more of fading the Lakers which I will keep doing so till they prove me otherwise.

My numbers have this game at -5 for the Magic so I will take the extra cushion the books are giving me. It's basically a pick.

No, but I bet the under on that game because the Nets are horrible. It was also Gasol’s first game with them and I wanted to see how he fits in. Gasol will struggle against more athletic power forwards which Nets did not have and Hawks and Magic have.
