Default Romney dropping out of presidential race

Mitt Romney plans to drop out of the presidential race Thursday, according to Mark Halperin’s The Page blog for Time Magazine.

Halperin says three sources have confirmed that the former Massachusetts governor will drop out as early as this afternoon, when he addresses the Conservative Political Action Conference in Washington, D.C.

Romney has steadily lost ground over the past few weeks to John McCain, who since Super Tuesday has taken a commanding lead in the GOP race.

Good riddance. I never liked this guy and the Church of Mormon is a kooky religion. I guess he got tired of dipping into his own pocket to support his campaign. Looks like it's a 3 horse race from here on out.

This is good news for us republicans, this will be a help to unite the party now and concentrate on keeping a democrate out of office.

Could of put his money to a good cause instead of spending it on his campaign.....

Default Mitt ''Glove''and the socialist olympics.

Glove ''Mitt''ain't no Ron Paul but he begrudgeingly would have been my 2nd choice.

What really pissed me off about Glove though was that he had allot of positives and a decent platform but he has to have a split personality where he got tons of tax payer welfare for the socialist Olympics.Romney calls himself the ultimate conservative and getting tons of tax payer welfare for the communist Olympics in Salt Lake City was as socialist-communist as you can get.

How can he say he'd do a good job running the economy if he can't stop wasting money on a worthless cause...himself.

Candidates are starting to drop like flies now. Pretty soon it will be down to just the two douchebags from either side. I might be picking with a coin if this keeps up.

This should be good for Hucklebee as he and Romney seemed to be splitting the traditional Republican vote... But Hucklebee has alot of ground to make up...

The media is reporting that he has SUSPENDED his campaign.

What the hell is that supposed to mean?

He suspended his campaign so they can still take care of their remaining financial obligations and the record keeping required by FEC... This is pretty standard...

He was a loser anyhow. He saved himself a lot of money by bailing out

I think he might choose Jew-ilani, and if he does he will lose. I think Romney would be great guy to put on his team, though for VP, I'm not sure.
