The support telephone number suggests that they are based in Latvia. Don't know anything else about them but be wary that dodgy shops very often have good odds to entice you into depositing.

yeah, that's why i'm trying to find out.

are you sure that phone # is in latvia? they say they cater towards scandinavia but are licensed and regulated in costa rica.

are there any other reputable sites like sbr to research this?

The customer services phone number has a 00371 prefix - that's the international code for Latvia.

I've just had a google search - they appear to be a new start-up. If "new start-up" and "good odds" don't start ringing any bells with you then deposit away.

It's a new Scandinavian owned bookmaker. Located in Costa Rica, and having their customer support in Latvia. For example Nordicbet has their customer support in Estonia, so it's not really nothing special. I think it's mainly for cost reasons they have a European hq. Their main target is the Nordic countries with lots of winter sport and other sports that are very popular in scandinavia. They are sponsors at one of the biggest European betting message boards, Bettingadvice: http://forum.bettingadvice.com/viewtopic.php?t=43027

Looks pretty solid for a new shop to me and i've never seen a crooked scandinavian owned bookie so far. Nordic people are quite honest imho.

Does Bill or someone else remember a bookmaker called Oddsalive? I don't remember if they were actually owned by scandinavians, but I do remember that they advertised heavily in nordic forums. They were eventually bought/acquired by Betinternet but there were some players who waited 3 months for their payouts.
