    will the media ever shut up about kobe's 81 points last sunday. i know it was a big deal and all, but enough is enuogh already.

    That's all the NBA has going right now. I can't watch a game let alone listen to the Kobe propaganda.

    The NBA is a league driven by stars. Fans are more loyal to individual players than they are to teams as in other sports. The NBA has to keep the machine running on these types of stories to survive.
