Just curious if anyone has gotten the free sports pager for 8000 player points. Wondering if its a total piece of junk or not and if i should just use player points for a larger freeplay. Any info would be greatly appreciated!

sure you should get it, I have too sports pagers, my other one is a little better, but it gives you the scores in all the major cities, as well as current and future lines, and will work forever if it is not broken or malfunctions.

I have one from way back when that STILL works even though I don't deal with the book that sent it anymore. However its bulky and ugly and it cant tell me anything my cellphone doesn't. ESPN MVP from Verizon Wireless is a much better tool for sports info on the go.

I remember reading before that a poster couldn't receive the pager service, because the service wasn't available in his area or something. Anyways, they only gave him only $100 instead.
