Shaq was my favorite and it caused me to spend alot time trying to explain to my little guy why it was funny!! He didn't see anything wrong with Shaq riding that horse "but Dad, I didn't even know Shaq liked horses??!!"

Was looking forward to the Under Armour commercial. Not sure what to think. I did care, because I own UA stock. They're marketing a cross trainer shoe. Since when is that a world changing event?! Would have preferred a more low key approach, like the second commercial shown when you go to the site (black and white, close up of shoe running over road, with cool music).

That was part of my worry. I understand the commercial was about street cred, and athletic edge, and had no political implication, but there are parts in the world where that type of ending would trigger associations with fascism rather easily.

If life is that school, yes.![]()
I have plenty of friends from Europe. Among them a now very old hero from the Dutch underground resistance (WW II). I just hope he didn't see the ad.
Anyway, the ad was about sports aggression. I understand that. But why risk rubbing so many people the wrong way?
