I turned $2000 into 24,000 over 6 years and this year I lost $12,000 of it.

117.50 left for me. Hopefully I can turn it into 500+.

Do I take the "double up twice" approach?
Or split it into 6 units and flat bet?

Wish me luck!

I know some people in this forum that lost 20 dimes in less than 90 min. That takes some skills!

One night years ago, 1996 or so, I deposited something like $50 into Intertops, then went to the casino. Lost my first hand of blackjack, then went on an insane run of victories starting with my last $25. Blackjacks, dealer busts, "sure thing" double down victories; I simply could not lose. More I won, the more I gradually began to increase my bets and was soon up to near $4,000.

Don't play any online casino anymore, having finally accepted their domination long since, but have always recalled that Intertops winning run.

Ive done it several times in the stock market the last 20 years. Betting wise, I just dont wager big enough to hit that big win.

I think good flat bets or strong ML parlays would be the way to go.

i actually started sportsbetting in the end of december 2007. Deposited $20 in bodog and played poker and bet on sports as well and then turned it into around $2,050 by the middle of January 2008. Then couldnt control myself and started losing because of the overbets i was making on sports, so i chased and now my account is a big fat 0!..lol,

I should of stuck with poker or managed my bankroll better in sportsbetting...nonetheless i feel very tempted to deposit another $20 into bodog and try it again. But Im so frustrated with losing all that, that quick!

SOMEONE CONVINCE ME NOT TOO REDEPOSIT!!!!!

My friend in college was a getting his phd in mathematics. He was married, and when we wanted to start a poker game, he had to ask his wife if he could gamble with $20. She okay, but once the $20 was gone, that was it for gambling.

His gambling fund is now approaching a million bucks, all from that original $20. Almost all of it from online poker. Pretty impressive but it's taken 15 years.

...ya i see that being very possible, poker competition online is rather soft. With proper bankroll management and skill anything can be accomplished

Do you remember what site he plays at? Because I play at bodog only due to the fact that it is also a sportsbook and I like betting sports as well. The only gripe I have with bodog is that the beats are just mind boggling. I know their will be bad beats in poker but for some reason bodog is notorius for them...

Biggest for me was turning a 100 dollar wu deposit at betjm into 9832 dollars. but of course hitting 8 k on video poker was biggest chunk of it.

The saturday before the SB31 i won a GLORIOUS NHL game where i laid $3300 at +1.20 witch allowed me when added to my previous balance to expertly reach 10000$

You are kidding right? Why didn't you cash out sooner? No book will pay you $34,000.

I was new to sportsbetting and didn't know better. And I took advice from someone I thought I could trust. Fifteen other people were robbed too. I also naively thought that $34,000 wasn't a lot of money.

Greek, Jamaica, WSEX, Bookmaker, Matchbook, Legendz, just to name a few that would pay much more than 34k.

You are exactly right. I just realise now the book curious was playing is not A+. When I started playing I also started with $2000 at a D book (did not know about SBR ratings) but every time I won $1000 I was cashing out and I was doing that frequently so I wouldn't have to ask for a big check.
