Trust me it only gets worse, so my advice would be to not let it bother you. I always just look around and say, well at least im not as old as that guy over there.

I also get depressed on my birthday, its been hapening for a long time. I will be 57 on saturday, my mother is 86.Every birthday reminds me of how I used to be a young guy. Its hard to accept your age, i am not afraid of deathi its just I made a lost of mistakes when I was younger wish I could redo things.

I always get suicidal near my birthday and Christmas and New Year's. Too many birthdays will kill you.

    Birthdays beat pushin' up daisies.

Getting older just means you're a year smarter. I never really think about my age - I just keep going on as if I'm still in my 20s - it's all in your head. And if there's something you regret not doing, then get out and do it!

Not me, I love birthdays, a few more and I can start collecting social security...ooops, may have spoke too soon as SS is drying up.

However, I do recall my 34th being one that for some reason I did wake up and feel older. Of course, it was short-lived due to the fact there was all sorts of trouble back then, what with the McCarthy Hearings and the Giants trying to catch the Dodgers in the NL race.

never did get depressed and am 47. Just found out a friend died this morning at 46. Natural causes. Age is a state of mind. Stay healthy, other than that it is out of your control.
