My contacts tell me it's a pretty timid book that will cut limits after a very small number of bets. It's the old joke: the limits listed on the website are absolutely valid - as long as you don't bet that much.

It's kind of bad because I have heard of them cutting limits well before guys have met their rollover requirements. I don't like to hear that. But at least they don't chop limits down to $100 like BCN used to. Action just halves them (at least those are the only reports I have heard. It sounds like BK is associated with the book. Maybe he can expand on their philosophy on that.)

Other than that, I've heard mostly good things. Reduced juice is good. Decent bonuses.

my check is taking 3 weeks to get to me via certified mail (confirmed this with CS today)...seems like quite a long time to me...

For the check sent via certified mail.

It is a free promo, we do not want to the customer to have to pay $60 fees ($30 DHL and $30 drafting fees for an international bank check.) But then again, the promo is for $100, not for $160, so we do it via certified mail. It's relatively cheap, and we can give it to the customer at no cost. That payout method is only for the free promo.

Depositing accounts can receive their funds in 90 minutes or less via ** and via Neteller. Bank checks are drafted that same day or the next day (depending on whether the bank is open). And then they are sent via DHL, which takes 2-3 days. So overall, the bank checks take 2-4 days to receive.

And as for the online playing limits... I will get back to you on that mudcat. I want to give you the information as accurately as possible. Just remember you can always call up to place more money on a pick over the phone. Over-the-phone limits are always higher.

This is just us trying to be responsible with our money. When we see a pattern in a player's account where he makes large wagers online and the lines on his picks change a few seconds later after the wagers are placed, we cut that player's online limit down to $500. This is just a measure we take to protect ourselves.

However, we will not cut down the limits over the phone. A player can still call and place the rest of the amount he wanted on that team.

I definitely do bring up everything that goes on in the forums at the office. And things are taken into consideration. After all, this IS a gambling forum. It is constructive to be on here.

I also believe that it's good for our company to explain things, give our side of a story, and just have a presence in general in the forums where our past customers, current customers, and potential customers are meeting at.

I had originally just started to post to give our side of the story on a couple of threads. But now it looks like I'm getting more and more involved in the forum. And it's a good thing. People get to know us better this way. And we get to know customer's better as well.

called and spoke with Jason today...he told me that a check had been cut 10 days after my payout request made on Jan. 14th (I was told it would take a couple of days because they send the checks out in "batches")...now it will take up to three weeks from the 24th to actually receive my check mailed certified...

got my check aobut a week and a half ago, but deposited via my ATM...because it's an out of the country check, I now have to re-deposit it at my branch on Monday...will keep you updated once it hopefully clears...

Sorry to hear. I have in the past had checks bounce from WSEX and First Fidelity. In the case of Action am sure is not an issue of not paying, but sometimes bank process these checks wrong. At a minimum they should cover all your fees and IMO should compensate you for hurting your relationship with your bank.

So they will probably receive it at the latest on Monday (after it's forwarded from their Miami office to the offshore address)...I did call Aden on Monday to confirm that the check had been mailed back...he again assured me that they would pay me promptly via ** as soon as they receive it...will keep you updated...

my experience with action has been great.on my last deposit of $3000 they gave me 25%($750) with a 6 or 7x roll.i went on a winning streak and they never lowered my limits.1000 online and another 1000 over phone,for 2000 max per bet.when i completed my roll the balance was above $11000 and neteller payouts have been immediate,with one 2500 free,then 30 for subsequent 2500,s.they may not offer me 25% bonus anymore but the -108 is worth playing there.also,they must have impressed sbr to have earned a c rating.
