    Spag( D-cord)
    Webster
    Strahan
    Osi

Unbeliveable game, one of the best superbowls ever and one of the biggest upsets ever!

Eli Scrambling on that play when tyree caught the ball on his helmet on the winning drive!!!! UNREAL!!!!! That is up there with the catch, the Miraculus reception and the rest of the great SuperBowl Plays.

Let me just take this all in And ill come back to this thread with a recap!!!

All the credit in the world to Eli. It's funny that everyone hated his demeanor and loved Philip Rivers' demeanor, but when it came to the big time games Eli's calmness under pressure really paid off. That last drive will be talked about for years to come...

eli did fine, but he wasnt relaxed at all in the final drive. its funny to see how people reply after the game, but in the last 2 minutes he threw a few balls up for grabs, took two horrible sacks, and almost fumbled. he had a big escape and lobbed the ball and tyree made a great play. then he tossed another lob to a wide open plax. all credit to the giants, but eli wasnt special to end it.

One of the best superbowls that I can remember.....Eli was clutch....The Giants defense was unbelivable and they just beat the pat on both sides of the ball....

could anyone please tell me what the Pats game plan was??...
They never were attacking or playing like a team that scored more than anyone else...they would have lost to the Chargers if they were healthy..so i would have thought all adjustments would have been made...then at the half...same thing....looked like an offense playing scared...

How about BB going for 4th and 13 instead of kicking the 49 yard FG? Bit him in the ass a little, huh?

Eli played a great game and this was one of the best Super Bowls that I have ever seen. I give Eli some credit since there was people talking bad about him and it is just amazing that he played this well in his first Super Bowl. I love it that New England lost when it counted this time, maybe they will feel like what it felt like when the Rams lost in 2002 being favored by over 10 points.

I will tell you the game plan. They forgot to put tape in the videocamera before the game and that's why Belicheat couldn't adjust the game plan. Someone in the video recording department is going to get axed tomorrow.

MO you must be a giants hater dude or lost on money on this game! You are normally very accurate on your breakdowns on games but you are way way way off here. Here is why. . .

The pats knew the Giants had to pass which allowed them to sit back in coverage and still bring the pass rush. The sacks were from great coverage and bad O-line blocking. THe play when he scrambled from three guys was unreal, plus the ball was at the only place it could have been. What does almost fumble mean! The pats Almost won the game too! Makes no sense. Not eli's fault that hobbs fell down, Plax was going to catch that anyway. Re evaluate your recap and give the credit to the highly critized Eli MAnning

I think Mofo is right here. He's just trying to say that NE really lost the game more than NYG won it. It took a series of spectacular plays and poor coaching by NE to give this to NYG.

Very frustrated myself with the effort that NE put into this game.

WOW!!! you both must of had too many

THe Giants whooped them on all three phases of the game!!! They wanted it more and PLEASE DO NOT TAKE ANYTHING AWAY FROM THEM! FORGET THE SCOREBOARD. They whooped the the pats physically!! BRADY didn't know what to do!!! You ever see him throw that many bad passes, he was on his back all night!

not kicking a 48 yard FG in the 3rd qtr is just plan stupid...I'd understand if the field was bad or weather but conditions were fine..the score was 7-3...kick the FG...

    hater?

not so much. also, i had the giants. the sacks were from him not being aware enough to throw the ball away. the dropped int was luck. the pass previous was a lob to 3 people. the big play was a lob to 4 people, his player made a great catch. to suggest that he put it where only his guy could have made the grab is delusional. Eli made one great play and that was not with his arm. it was fine, he just didnt look settled in the last drive. the results were great, but he easily could have had turn overs on 4 different plays. if one of those passes is picked, or he loses that fumble, then he is a choker. his feet weren't comfortable but he ended up getting the job done. i dont need to reevaluate anything, i watched the game, thats what happened.

I think the giants defense won the game. The giants were the better team. I was merely referring to the love for Eli. certainly he played well, but the last drive wasn't his best. The results are what matter and they ended up great, but they could have been disastrous for NY on several plays.

that was bad, but the worst thing NE did was not challenge the early fumbled recovery. NE recovered and the man was down before Bradshaw came in and took the ball back. Huge mistake.

That's not going to get the ball in the endzone. He took some chances, but he played great. Outplayed the best QB in the league. Your being critical of him like he is a star QB. He is a slightly better than average QB in the NFL and performed great throughout the entire postseason, when everyone counted him out!(even his local STATE). Brady is the the calibar of QB that you would call a choker, because he is a star. Eli was doubted by everyone. Your making it sound like the giants won because of luck, which is ridic.

I agree. But the Pats dont seem to have must faith in the kicker. Brady taking a sack on third down really forced them into not taking a FG. However I dont know why they thought they could convert a 4th and 14 with the way their offense was going.

Fumbling the ball after both knees and the ball hits the ground means nothing, the play is over. Also When A Samuel had a chance for pick (which was a very tough catch) was a miscomunication on the route, who knows who's fault that was. If he gets sacked on that one play, like he should have they lose this game.

Not going to get the ball in the endzone? they had to waste two timeouts on those plays. please. Im just giving an honest break down of the final drive, nothing more. Ive stated that he played well, he did. At no point did i suggest that the giants won because of luck. your ability to read and understand what you're reading is not what it typically is. thats ok.
