doesn't look like NE can score without some help...like a flag or something...if the giant win the entire defensive unit is MVP...

The giants D line were the MVPs they should have picked one of them. Eli's was good too with two touchdowns in the fourth quarter but the d-line won the game for them. They got hosed.

I completely agree. While Eli was clutch on that last series, Tyree made the catch that got them another shot at the endzone. And, they wouldn't have been in it at all had the front 7 not played a killer game.

Sweetie, I'm not going anywhere ... the column was just my "swan song" for this season. I'll still be around and I'll be posting my columns here next season - if SBR so permits.

I must have misunderstood what you meant by swan song. So what you on a 6 month vacation now or what else do you write about?

Sadly, no more sportwriting for me until football starts again. I'm actually the Features Editor here at the newspaper - much better hours than sportswriting! And, I write the American Idol column, which will start on Feb. 19th.

American Idol, geez, what a crappy gig. You layed into me earlier this year for watching Springer, and now you not only watch but write about a show that is lowering the bar for stars like American Idol. Last night aside, most of the winners get to do a National Anthem somewhere, and they usually suck. I guess that I shouldn't talk about american idol because I have never seen it.

The reason I write about it is that 30 million people watch it and it really drives traffic on our Web site.
