Probably best to keep this off the forums.

I agree- Always start off taking it off the forum. You could be right but that no rollover doesn't make sense.

i too would sugguest shooting bill an email, in regards to your problem bud.

I guess Tej the Midget needed to make payroll and had to make sure you weren't taking a withdrawal.

In fairness to Royal, does anyone remember them every making fraudulent bets on a players account? I don't. If the IP address holds up and they can actually prove it to a third party, tough to see a player getting refund. Not judging, just saying this isn't their normal MO.

Lakerfan- Sure does seem a lot like David1. It's also his first post and then no rollover big bonus makes no sense at all.

Raiders-
I thought David1 story turned out to be a lie, but was a while ago and the story kept going for so long I gave up on it. I very well could be wrong.
SBR Founder Join Date: 8/10/2005
The David1 story was that Royal lied to him for about 6 weeks that his WD request was processed, the money was on the way. All lies. Unfortunately, David1 started to bet again at Royal thinking he would never see his money anyway. Just as Royal hoped, he started losing. David1 lied about making bets that Royal proved that he did.
Since this poster admits to knowing Royal are crooks and that the owner Nevtej Kohli has swindled millions of dollars from off-shore bettors, I do not have any sympathy for this bettor. You play with fire, you'll get burned.

magic man, you say you knew about Royal's reputation, then how could you send the biggest crook in the off-shore business your money?
Are people like me who spend a great deal of time on the forums warning people of the thieves, crooks, and swindlers in the off-shore world just wasting our time?
SBR Founder Join Date: 12/29/2005
Good point Chuck. I really have no idea what to make of this thing.

magik_man - email Bill and, as has already been suggested a number of times, keep this off the board. If you have a genuine grievance then I'm pretty sure that it will be worked out satisfactorily.

Magik Man disproved the Martingale system the hard way. Now he wants to try and recoup his losses.

Magik,
Can you send me your phone number? If you rather, you can call the office 830-515-4122 tomorrow morning.

So whats the latest on Royal's latest thievery?
SBR Founder Join Date: 12/29/2005
The latest is the same thing that's been going on for years at BetRoyal. No one gets stiffed but there are slow pays. Bet Royal is the forums favorite whipping boy and the scammers are out in full force trying to take advantage of this.
SBR Founder Join Date: 8/10/2005
I hope you are not taking the word of a convicted swindler over this bettor. Any bettor saying they are getting stiffed by Nevtej Kohli, I believe the bettor until proven otherwise. It has something to do with what my dad told me, "fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me".

I'm pretty sure I've received no playthrough bonus offers from royal before. Always declined them as I didn't know what to make of it. Logically you should just cash out and then deposit again and get a new bonus, right, if you want to play with a bonus. But somehow I doubted it would be that easy.
SBR Founder Join Date: 11/28/2005
Logically you should cash out immediately from BetRoyal. I do not have the exact count but some have said up to 15 Sportsbook/casinos Nevtej Kohli has owned and operated. Each and every one of them has closed their doors leaving all post-up players high and dry.
Convicted swindler who spent years in a federal penitentiary. Has now robbed off-shore bettors for millions of dollars.
Kohli now has control of BetRoyal. Does a house have to fall on some of you people?

I've never read one positive thing on betroyal...
SBR Founder Join Date: 8/18/2005
Chuck, he has owned more than 50 casino/sportsbook/bingo sites. 99% of them have closed up shop stiffing players or are still operating as no paying shops. In the case of Royal, it's only a slow pay once the case hits the forums.Originally Posted by Chuck Sims

So no one can say that they've been stiffed by BetRoyal and BetRoyal has bailed out failed books. Those are the facts.
I wonder how long it'll take TT to jump in. I don't care if it's a Brazilian website written in Portuguese, if Royal is mentioned TT will be there with his translation software.

This is a casino issue but Royal Sportsbook Mgt. is going to request the relevant data. We can not release more info at this time since it could potentially influence the accounts of what happened from both parties..Originally Posted by Chuck Sims

FWIW, it is not uncommon near the end of a fiscal quarter, for ROyal to offer bonuses to players if they agree not to request a withdrawal for a set period of time. There is usually no roll required. It's basically interest or hush money, to sit back for a week or two before taking your payout. I know a few people who have neen offered this tyope of bonus, and all were paid.

If you take a look at the wires, I believe SBR has Royal trending upwards with a couple of recent upgrades. They certainly give all appearances of being month to month, but they do keep paying people eventually. It seems if they could significantly reduce their cashout "processing" periods, they could actually receive a somewhat respectable rating.Originally Posted by pags11
