Guys we need to resolve this issue ASAP, not wait till Feb 29. See what happened to the Mets payroll with Santana contract that went to overtime to get resolved. The two parties need to sit down to the negotiation table and bring this issue to closure. JJ is a great asset and needs to be appreciated for his work. Let's all make the effort to get some fruitful results.

He won't take my advice and have another press conference. This story is getting ZERO coverage in the press. He just wants SBR to give him what he wants just like that, but that's not how businesses work.

jj call a press conference, tell them that the negotiations are stalling, generate coverage. You think SBR wants this to be an ongoing news story? You think SBR wants Leno and Stewart and Jimmy Kimmel making jokes about this? You think they want a Letterman Top 10 on what will happen to SBR if jj leaves??? No way! So true. Personally, I could not care less about this character. However, i can see clearly that the guy got charisma and talent. It is a shame to see it being applied in a so much less than efficient way. JJGold can do much more but he needs guidance and funding.

i don't expect things to heat up with SBR until the final 72hrs, i'm assuming JJ will have his lawyers in close contact. this thing comes down to the wire and could go either way, depends on who blinks first.....my advise jj is like A-Rod you may have to enter the negotiations personally to get the last minute deal done.
