Quite off-topic, but I believe this is quite an interesting question which should get some creative replies...

For me, I am not in a serious relationship currently, so losing a HUGE POY type bet would be worse for me. However, if I was married, or in a serious relationship it would be much worse to have your wife/gf cheat on you then losing 1 bet, no matter how large. This would be even worse if you are married as your spouse cheating on you may lead to a divorce, which may ultimately be even more costly than losing your POY.

Which would you rather, losing your POY or being cheated on?

i dont know if ive been cheated on, but i imagine that would feel like death for a few days. then again, being on here with heterosexual tough guy gamblers, and jj gold, im inclined to say losing my POY even though thats not actually the case.

I know everyone should play within their bankroll, and not bet more then 2-3% of their bankroll on anyone, but I know that I for one will admit to stepping out of line and making an extra large bet once and awhile...

some guys dont give a rats balls if they get cheated on. losing my poy will cause me to break things and curse around the house for 2-7 hours, but then i will calm a bit. sometimes.

I have had both happen and by far cheated on is much worse, you go into a bet with the outlook that you have a chance to loose, when you get cheated on its with someone that you trusted and when that trust is broken it is a killer, its something that in the back of your mind you think might happen but dont expected it, with the POY you always know that there is a really good shot you could loose.....I think it comes down to the expectations going into the whole deal
