Default Israeli Newspaper Rates the US Candidates

A leading Israeli English-language daily, Ha'aretz, has a column that rates the US Presidential candidates, in terms of their likely continued support for Israel.

(Tho Ha'aretz, a "liberal" paper, speaks openly of what major US papers do not, the genuine existence of a powerful pro-Isreal "lobby" in the U.S. Some of their columnists don't think activities of the Lobby is, long-term, good their country.)

Number One in terms of loyalty to Israel is Rudy Guiliani (the columns were written before some recent drop-outs)

Number Two? Okay, close your eyes and guess, without looking at the next paragraph!

Ok, times up: it's Hillary. The lady has spoken many times as if Israel is America's 51st state. Ex-CIA officer Phil Giraldi has said that many of the candidates "seem as if they are actually running for office in Israel."

With Rudy gone, Bill's spouse tops the charts in Tel Aviv.

Number 3 on the Sh-t Parade is our good friend, Johnny Boots.

Romney and now-gone Fred Thompson came in fourth.

And #5? Well, bad news for Oprah: Obama is last (tho I see no rating for Edwards, now gone too).

Should Barack fold his hand now, or wait till after Feb 5? "Ya gotta know when to hold em, Know when to fold 'em . . ."

What do you propose for a solution in Israel/Palestine, Jamie?

Hope it's a good solution since your country created the mess in the first place.

That would be Ralph Nader. He's the only candidate who is even willing to publicly criticize Israel.

The other candidates are beholden to Israel like no other. If you didn't know any better, you would think they are running for president of Israel.

Then again, the United States is a colony of Israel

In 1946 after thousands of British soldiers died after liberating innocent jews from camps, they (Jews in Israel) bombed the British government in the King David hotel bombing, killing many

The Man who organised the slaughter of the British, Menachem Begin, was voted as prime minister twice by the Jewish voters in the following years.

Benjamin Netanyahu, attended the terrorist bombing celebration in 2006.

Funnily, i don't have much love for the Israeli State

I believe if we give Palestine (what they call now Israel) back to its original owners the earth will be a peaceful place but we can't do that because this will make the terrorists unemployed and we will have noone to mess with.

Guiliani has throw his support (probably in exhcnage for Sec or State should McCain win) to Johnny Boots.

So, unless Obama pulls off an upset next Tuesday, Super Tuesday, we'll hve "An Echo, Not a Choice" - to reverse a slogan used by the Goldwater campaign during the early part of the Vietnam War.

Don't think I'd be interested right now in buying some prime real estate anywhere in Tehran.
