the terps have won something like 5 of 7 vs the dukies. vazquez can be an all conference caliber pg when he plays within himself. gist can be the best pf in the acc when hes on his game, but the rest of the cast is below average. hayes has the ability to knock down some 3s, but hes not a great defensive player and he rarely gets of his own shot. tucker has been a spark in their lineup and he'll be a good player down the road, right now its tough to predict what you'll get out of him. boom osby is a warrior down low and he'll give a soft duke front court some problems. the terps dont have a deep team, but the place will be rocking tonight.

md comes in as one of the best fg% defense teams in the nation.
