I usually hate futures. I feel its like letting a sportsbook get interest on your bet while you wait to lose. With that being said i was messing around at betjm and noticed the hornets are +3500 to win nba championship. This is a team that is 30-12. It really makes no sense to me how the bulls can be 17-25 and they are +4500 ort even worse with the heat being +4000. I am not saying that n.o. has a great shot but at that price i might lay 50 bucks on it. They are a exciting team to watch and who knows, stranger things have happen. Hell while i am at it i might lay 20 on my favorite hawks at +15000.
With San antonio looking to have a off year and i havent been real impressed with phoenix and dallas this year no has a good shot to get there and if they do and play boston or anyone in the east they have a real shot in a 7 game series. what you guys think?

Plot the hornets offensive efficiency on a graph starting at the beginning of the season till today, use say weekly stats. what you will see is that the hornets started out the season not scoring well but their offensive efficiency trends up up up, their offensive efficiency over the last two weeks is+120, over the last week it is +125.

I think you have a real shot to win that bet.

Much more value in them to win the West, +2100 at SIA. They'll most likely be a dog to Boston in the finals, or about PK with the Pistons.

I actually hit this before the spurs game tonight, earlier today. Now I'm even more confident there's serious value in this.
