Been watching the Australian Open with some interest. Both these two have been playing very very well in the tournmant. Neither of them has "back doored" their way into this match.

Tsonga was really impressive the other night vs. Nadal in beating him in straight sets. And Nadal didn't play poorly either. To be honest, I can't remember the last time Nadal was dominated like that. Djokovic too took care of Federer but really Federer looked pale and sick and keep in mind Federer didn't really get any practice in before the tournmanet. He struggled with Tipservich and even Blake at time. That being the case, RF had his chances up 5-3 in the 1st rd and 0-30 serving too. Everytime, Djokovic responded though.

Not sure who I like here. Djokovic has considerably more experience than Tsonga despite being younger than the Frenchman. I give a big advantage to Djokovic for that extra level of experience (7 titles to 0 for Tsonga). Not to mention, I think now Djokovic has a psychological edge after having beaten Federer...he seems very very determined. Anyone who stayed up and watched that match knew that Djokovic could have folded against Federed in the 1st rd but the intensity he played with was amazing.

I am not sure if Tsonga can keep up and play a flawless game like he did against Nadal.

Slight lean toward Djokovic -248 (Matchbook).

I watched last nights ladies final. I will not be watching the mens. This is for one reason and one reason only. They aren't hot broads.

Nadal just played like he always does.. And he always had problems agains agressive guys with a good serve. Đoko can counter that, he has been holding his own serve for the whole tournament. He also has more quality in shots from the line, he is more patient and plays smarter.

Đoko all the way! I bet on him as soon as the lines were up after he kicked Fedex butt

Actually, I didn't end up playing Djokovic like I had intended. I went to bed around 1:00 AM intending to wake up around 2:15 AM CDT to place my bet assuming that I might get a cheaper line on Djokovic. When i went to bed it was -245 @MB and then when i woke up again, Pinnacle dropped the the line some 30 cents on Djokovic so I got a little bit hesitant feeling that the sharp money was on Tsonga.

Instead, I played over 39.5 games (-120) believing that if the sharp money was true that Tsonga would be able to win then it should be an extended match. Fortunately it played out like I hoped with Tsonga winning the first set putting pressure on Djokovic. For the most part, each contestant held serve throughout the match including the crucial 4th set which pushed it over 39.5.

All in all, it was a great game considering I stayed up the nearly 4 hours watching it, winning the bet made it much better....
