Good Morning, Ladies and Gentlemen. I'll be posting Official News and Information concerning the upcoming SBR Forum Bash tentatively scheduled for 22-23 Aug 2008. Rest assured, this event IS going to happen, we are currently in the formative and planning stages thereof. As details become finalized, I'll ensure to keep you folks informed. The purpose of this poll is to help us get an idea on the # of posters interested in attending. This is in no way final or the formal sign-up thread, just a tool to help us plan. Kindly take a few seconds to respond and with your help we'll make this Bash into the social event of the year.

No matter what radio and tv talk show you listen to,someone gets past the screeners by talking on topic for a few seconds and then they go into a rant screaming Bobba Booey.I know it's some Howard Stern cult dealie but I'm not sure exactly what it means?Anyone here know what Bobba Booey is all about?

Anyway,it seems like no matter what sports handicapping forum I go to,there are JJ Gold cult members that act the same way as the Bobba Booey people ranting about JJ Gold.

I know $60 an hour at the docks is nice money JJ,but you could be making as much as potty mouth Stern by the looks of your online cult population.I was just at the EOG forum and JJ is a big hit there.


Just seeing what JJ Gold is like in person is enough reason to attend.You can count me being there.I promise not to be the controversial dink I sometimes am in my posts.I'm actually a pretty soft spoken guy.hehe!

He already is. Imagine what this forum would be like without him here. Probably pretty boring and much less activity. Would need to bring in more posters if that were the case. He accounts for a lot of the traffic here I'd imagine.

I would like to come but it just depends on how much it will cost me all together if I can afford it. If they would allow one guest it will be easier for me, at least in the room that is, I could probably have enough to take care of the airfare if I could be the only one that gets free airfare. I will just have to wait and see on this one.

To recieve free airfare and hotel accomidations you will need to have 1000 posts by August. Posters without 1000 posts will have to pay for their accomisations if they choose to attend.

I live within 20 min of JJ. If you got the bag ready at the airport Happy, I'll kidnap him and get him on the plane. My Muay Thai experience should help with that.

Hey Illusion is there going to be any more rules besides the 1000 posts? I mean I would hate to have a bunch of freebie people coming to the site and just posting one word reponses from now till August to get their 1000.

I am planning for it, right now my August looks pretty open so have to check also what poker and blackjack tournaments are out there as that would really be big influence in addition to exactly how big this SBR event is going to be, as it will be my first and everything. Sounds pretty exciting so far as would be fun to meet some of the posters and actually hang out and have some beers gamble in the casinos, play some poker and talk about sports and wagering
