Default The BJ back-off blues (Is casino BJ really OT here?)

You know it will eventually happen. If it doesn't, you aren't betting enough. That said, I still get a bit bummed whenever I get backed off. I had a bumming experience tonight at the Las Vegas Hilton, where I am staying. They were professional, non-threatening, and didn't give me grief about my free room. They didn't even cancel my comp dollars (which I cashed out). The Hilton barely has playable games - it is mostly "6/5 single deck" and CTS games... But they have a couple playable double-deck games, and 1-3 shoe games left (depending on when you play).

I was a bit surprised that they picked this trip to toss me. I've been winning for years, but this trip I kept my sessions short and spreads low.

At least I can still play at their sportsbook.

What did you do to get backed off? Count or winning way too much in their eyes?

Can you still play in the rest of Vegas, or is your pic all over town now?

Most casinos won't flyer you unless you're betting very aggressive. I don't know anyone in the Griffin book who wasn't betting at LEAST 600/hand.

When I go to Vegas though, I take great care to have at least two "appearances" available. I won't be recognizable for a rest of this trip by a mug-shot from last night.

    Two appearances is pretty serious.
