I love betting dogs and all, but even I'm not that crazy. Hell, if anything I'd lay -500 before I'd take the +400.

What about Giants +3.5 +261 since the Pats always win by 3?

Usually I like a big dog, especially in a high profile game, but not this year. I actually had Pats +500 when they beat the Rams, but I don't see it this year.

Pats most likely in a blowout. There's no way the Giants can cover Moss, Welker, and stallworth with that secondary plus great weather.

Dont press your luck, take the deal Giant bettors asking for 3 straight plus Giant ML winners is pushing your luck.

Take all your winnings from last 3 weeks and put it on Pats -12

Believe it or not its highly possible the giant may prevail and win, if not cover easily. Remember the -11 Packers vs Denver. No body gave the broncos a chance, and for good reasons.

For these reasons and maybe more the Packers were overly hyped,

    1) The NFC won 18 straight Superbowls, most of them by double digits.

2)The Packers had an MVP Quarterback in Brett Farve vs Elway past his prime.

3)Elway and co, had been notoriousily bad in their past 3 Superbowl appearances, all blowouts.

4)The Packers had the most dominant line against the run, ranked #1 with fat Gilbert brown and the Great Reggie White, against the lightest offense line in the league.

5)Very Good receiving tandem in Robert Brooks and Antonio Freeman, and tightend Mark Chumara.

These Packers end up losing 31-21, by the +11 underdog Broncos.

This is the same hype the Pats will be getting for the next two weeks. All the pressure will be all them, because they're trying to do the unimaginable, going 19-0. The Giants on the hand have nothing to lose, they're happy to just be in the big dance. If they lose, so what, they shouldn't be in this position to begin with. These guys just won in one of the hardest places to win at in the NFL in minus zero degrees and all. This is a team on fire, noway they bowdown to these Pats. These Giants will cover because they can score against that opportunistic Pat D. The Pats D are not dominant enough to protect a big lead.

I didnt say not to bet on the Giants ... My biggest concern is betting on the ML ... as the line is right now ... I dont see the PATS covering ... yet again going for the ML for NY is absolutely crazy ... unless someone can find a good reason to take it

Well, I'm sure we've all watched enough sports to realize that nothing is impossible.....Highly, VERY highly unlikely of course, but not a mathematical certainty that New England wins. Otherwise why play the game?

I had the Patriots ML versus the Rams a few years back as well lakerfan, when it was a 100% guarantee that the Rams were going to wipe the field with New England in the SuperBowl.

Would it be possible to lose the only game that actually matters?

    Go 18-1 and no ring .... sh!t !!

You never know.....That said, I don't have anywhere near the Testicular Courage to take the Giants straight up, but I'm sure there will be many who do.

I'm just hoping for a good game. Seems to me there's actually been some very good ones the last few years, as opposed to the yearly blowout I remember growing up.....

As much as I like the Pats, something scares me about the G-Men.

I was on the ML against the Cowboys. I wimped out against the Packers, so now it's time to get back on the Giants band wagon. Why not?

That would suck, And if Pats win we can finally hold the funeral for the 72 Dolphins.

Mercury Morris trash talking is all over if Pats win and no more hearing about the 72 dolphins popping the champagne corks every year after every NFL team has a loss.

Incorrect. The NFC won 13 in a row before Denver won in SB 32.
