I'm trying to take a few days off, just because I'm a little burnt out, but it is very hard to do so. Even if it's just a half unit play it's become such routine to have action on something. I'm really not even in the mood today, but still have two college basketball games pending.

I wish there was a self exclusion for a week option from books, and come to think of it this forum too. It's hard not to think about gambling when all you do is browse gambling forums all day.

I take days off and don't even look at the lines. You have to do this to re-charge the batteries, especially when you're cold.

Other then friendly NCAA tourny and Super Bowl pools, I dont bet. I've only made 1 bet on sports and it was online for a 5 team parlay and i hit it. $5 dollars into $105. But following touts and lines, it just looks like a headache and a crapshoot; so i've never never gone out on a limb and put a bet out there.

It can be everyday, but if there is nothing I find there is value in, I can go a day or so without betting.

i dont necessarily bet everyday, but i find picks and then i decide if i wanna go on them or not. i do bet them bout 95% of the time. But i find my picks, wait 3-5 hours, do the same research and see if i agree with myself. if i do then i bet them, if im finding something different, ill stay away from it. Many times doing this has helped me and its what i like 2 do.

If I work late or to much I don't bet. Probably won't be betting Saturday since I'm off with my daughter for a basketball tourney. I'll take the laptop and see if I can scoop up an internet connection.

I agree with Raiders. Especially now that football is winding down, I usually bet basketball 3-5 days a week. I usually take a couple days off each week. I get burned out, and I find myself searching/studying games too much if I try to find bets everyday. If I really like 4 or 5 games on a certain day I usually play 2 or 3 I have the most confidence in.

During football it can be tough for me to sit out. I usually bet a few college games Saturday, A few Sunday, and MNF. Occasionally, I throw in a weekly college football game.

hard to turn off. if I actually stop gambling for an extended period of time I'd probably start up smoking again, which I'm trying not to as is.

I bet pretty much everyday as I like to play Hockey and usually there is a game I like. Then once baseball starts there is no doubt I will be betting everyday.
