Default My gift boxing pick to SBR

Manny Pacquiao -116 although I actually got it at -109 in my earlier post.

Pacquiao -109: This should be a great fight. Morales won the last fight 115-113 on all 3 score cards. In that fight it was written in the contract that they had to use winning gloves. This fight Pac Man is using Reyes gloves which are punchers gloves. Pac Man also had a bad cut in that fight from a headbutt.

gl Freebie- Pac Man made the weight easily. They both look to be in good shape but as usual Morales killed himself to make weight.

Bragging time- Pac Man by TKO. As predicted Pac Man said the Reyes gloves helped him. I also wrote that Morales had a hard time making the weight. Morales just said after the fight that he was very tired because it was tough for him to get to 130.

I almost forgot. Pac man also said that the cut in the first fight really hurt him as the blood kept him from seeing.

Natrass- Where you at? I put up that boxing pick just for you. I have two NFL games tomorrow that I feel good about if you ever give in and start playing the American sports.

I didnt bet it but Im a Morales fan. That was well worth the PPV price if you paid for it.

Im just glad there are more good fights lined up for the year. Should be a good year for boxing fans.

    I didn't even look yet. What's next?

Morales really took a beating. I hope for his sake that he doesn't fight Pac Man a third time. He should also move up a weight class.

Vargas vs Mosley is 5 years too late.

Jones vs Hopkins was cancelled last week.

    Toney vs Rahman. Yawn.

Lacey vs Calzaghe. Only good fight coming up I'm interested in.

Mayora vs De La Hoya. Yawn.

You're right it's a great year. I love to watch Mayorga fight but DeLaHoya isn't the best opponent for him to fight. DeLaHoys will run the whole time. I hope Mayorga catches him and tags him. Mayorgas one of the best to watch and DeLaHoya is the worst.

Mayorga is definitely an action fighter, but this fight poses little interest to me as it's several years late as are a lot of the fights this year are.

I'm waiting for Floyd to send Zab to an encore of his famous chicken dance and hopefully getting a Hatton/Mayweather fight signed. That's the fight I'm holding out for.

Floyd will make Judah look worse then he did Gatti. Hatton has a chance if the fight's in his own back yard where he beat Tszyu.

I'm not so sure. Zab's glass chin may be the thing that saves him from sustaining maximum damage in the ring, lol. As long as I see the chicken dance part deux, it'll be worth the price of the show (I can't find the link I had of KT sending him into space from their fight, lol)

That would be his only chance. He needs a ref in his corner and pocket like Dave Parris was in his fight with Kostya. Put Jay Nady in the ring and all of his holding and hitting will be removed. And I hate how nobody mentions how Kostya was totally gone after Hatton nailed him with that intentional low blow, pretty much right on Kostya's golden globes.

Tszyu was all class in that fight with Hatton. The speech he gave afterwards was great. I really wish that Gatti wouldn't have fought Mayweather. That trilogy against Ward was as good as the Morales/Barrera fights.

Man, it would be hard to say which one was better. They both were very good wars per say. Do you thing we will we see any other match up that will live up to these two trilogies?

PacMan/Morales could. I love boxing but Morales has been in too many wars. I don't want to see him take that much punishment win or lose.

I was going to say Pacman/Morales, but I dont think that should or will happen. Then again, who knows. But Morales has been through to many battles. He is getting older and Im not sure he will be around to much longer. He has had a great career, and shouldnt get into these battles much more. Take it as it is, and move to the next fight. I hope Im wrong, but he looked bad tonight. It could of been the fight to make weight, but we will see.

He got a rib injury from training. I don't think that a new date has been scheduled yet, but I've not really been looking.

I'm pretty sure that it hasn't. I just did a quick google and the only reference I could find was to the one which was scheduled on 4th February.

Chico pulled out of the Feb. 4th fight against JLC due to injury, I think they are supposed to fight their 3rd battle in May or June, but JLC is trying to set up a fight with Hatton, so who knows. If they fight again, it has a chance to be one of the great trilogies as the first fight was the best fight I've ever seen. The 2nd one was fast and furious with JLC knocking the crap out of Chico in round 4.
