I don't like the new breed of posters who are matriculating over here one damned bit. A bunch of immature assholes who go in everyone's threads and heckle them, give no information, and know nothing about lasting in this game longterm. This place may be getting more traffic, but I think it's heading in the wrong direction.

I think something should definitely be considered in regard to your post, and how about integrating a better ignore feature? I made a thread in the suggestions forum about that. If you could place people like you describe on ignore and never see one post or thread they make, it'd help clean up the garbage at least on your end. Instead of seeing "this user is on your ignore list" 15 times in one thread.

I think SBR might well soon become the biggest forum on the internet, which from John and Co.'s perspective is terrific. I do think, however, that is important to remember why this traffic has come in in the first place, and that is as a result of some of the knowledgeable/helpful regulars on here. Maybe if the moderation was tightened and posters were banished exclusively to the private zone for a couple of weeks on their first offense that would work. I have no problems yucking it up with the 18-25 year olds on occasion, but I'd prefer to do it in their own shitstirring section. Cheers crazy and pokernut

I think it was BBD who mentioned a while back the possibility of creating an invite-only subforum dedicated to serious cappers and breaking down games, angles, etc. Certainly the specifics would have to be worked out, but I think it's an intriguing option. Something along the lines of a particular number of invites, say 10, required to enter and post, as well as one mishap or harassing post for a member resulting in banishment would seem a good idea.

Something to think about, SBR, because one thing's for sure - this forum's turning to Shit... fast.

There would have to be some sort of bonus to joining the VIP area. Who would pay $50-$100 a year or whatever, for no reason other than having a paid version of the "private zone"? I think it needs a hook. Like, an automatic pick tracker built into the site, live up to the minute injury info, or something of that caliber.

Yes a value ...up to the minute injury reports that could be PM'd or sent to our personal email address, or a pick tracker would be great...maybe have a news letter sent out before Football, basketball, baseball, and hockey seasons start on trends and analysis from betting experts.
