If enough effort was exerted, I'm quite sure similar violations could be found against at least 20 of the top 25 teams - and 100% of the SEC teams. LSU is being targeted because it was in the spotlight recently, and because the "cheaters" there maybe weren't as clever as the "cheaters" at other institutions.

I doubt they cheated.

If you look at LSU's roster, I bet at least 70% (possibly up to 90%) of their roster is from the state of Louisiana. Its like that year in and year out these days. Its just pride for one's home state.

Every team cheats a little and most just dont get caught...Chances that a death penalty like the one SMU got will never happen again, and with the extreme pressure on those coaches and staffs it makes it easy to break the rules.
