Default Tomlinson and Rivers Walking the Sidelines???

I'm not generally an "old school" type guy....but I'm having trouble watching Tomlinson and Rivers on the sidline (not in the locker room or at the hospital) walking aorund (not layed out on a table, not even limping).....AND NOT PLAYING?????

They may still win but WTF....I harken back to growing up and watching Bradshaw return to the field from the hospital and playing.

Tomlinson was bent backwards and Rivers simply fell down after throwing a screen pass (nobody within 5 yards of him).

If I were them I would want to play. They don't seem to care. All smiles. I would have shoved Norv's headset up his ass if he didn't let me.

You'd have to assume that if they couldn't play today (when they were down 3 pts in the 4th).....Rivers and Tomlinso aren't gonna play (at least play much) next week

That was really bizarre, seeing both of them walking on the sideline. Give credit to the backup QB. He engineers the winning drive, then Rivers is jawing with the fans like he did it. Although he did play well. Win with some class.

Agree all the way around. I like that Rivers has some fire in him and doesn't get intimidated, but as a pro-athlete he needs to learn not to run his mouth to the fans. Even walking to the locker room after his injury he was jawing at guys in the stands and then again at the end of the game. He isn't a college kid anymore, he needs to mature quite a bit.

I agree with you. I saw shots of both of them smiling/laughing, couldn't help but wonder why they weren't back in the game. Well enough to walk the sidelines, but not get in there. Gates has a dislocated toe, and he went all the way. LT's rubbing his knee like he wants a lollipop, and Rivers can't stop yelling at fans. Strange. If they don't play next week and they're actually hurt bad, I apologize, but it didn't look good.

If the Chargers win at New England, they'll be dancing on that field until the middle of next week.

Right in the center of the field. Lights out Juicer Merriman may dance on that field so long he'll be arrested for trespassing thirteen hours after the fact.

The perfect setup to wipe out last year's bad taste. Gotta love it. I have no idea how the Chargers are going to do it, but I know that they can. Pats began at the top of the mountain and have gradually come down. Not by much, but enough. Chargers have gone the opposite way.

Eagles and Giants have shown that Pats are vulnerable when you get to Brady. Chargers have the players for that. If they are healthy, this could be very close.
