Default JJ is 4-22 in His Last 26 Plays

A cursory look over JJ's last several plays shows a 4-22 record. That's a worse win % than the St. Louis men's basketball team's FG % the other night. Not only that, but most of them were all double digit losses. It's one thing to miss by a couple of points here or there, but to hit less than 12% and have every game be a blowout spread loss is truly remarkable.

I really think Hank is substantially smarter than he leads on, and is actually betting the other side of every game he posts. I think he might be doing all this to fool books into keeping him as a customer by this huge internet whale personality. Of course his Youtube videos are as cheerful as ever. No one really going 4-22 for big stakes could possibly be as carefree as that.

What are you playing at here Hank, because it's certainly not the picks you give out? You're either a professional poster, pretending to bet for shits and giggles, or you are messing with everyone and really playing the opposite of the picks you give out. Looking forward to an open response...

I don't know what's up with jj's position in the cosmos, although I could hazard a guess, but I can guarantee you no book can be fooled by a youtube video or anything else. As far as a book is concerned, they look at your P/L number, and that's who you are.

Ploy so the books keep him as a customer, eh?
Are you forgetting that he bets there and they know if he wins or loses?

He's not playing the opposite of his picks. He's not smart enough.

It still is better than St. Louis' FG% actually.

I agree. I honestly think what Webber is doing is finding what he thinks will be an obvious blowout and picking the other side to create the impression he's truly a sicko, degenerate gambler. He may be a little compulsive, but I have more faith in his handicapping than that.

Looks like another blowout loss taking you to 4-23 JJ. Hopefully no one is following your picks too blindly, as no one could sustain as many blowout losses as you're taking in real life JJ

JJ, you're a streak bettor. So am I. I found it's possible to break a losing streak by clearing my mind completely. Get out of that mental rut. Sit down to create an improved, fresh set of principles to work from. Your mind needs to be in a flexible, positive state in order to pick winners. If you get down on yourself or depressed, that mental state, as if by some magnetic law, attracts more losers. If we get tense, the mind becomes rigid. A rigid mind can no longer see clearly. So relax. Take a mental breather.

Have you ever noticed how people who are new to this business can pick a whole string of winners? That's because they have a childlike expectation to pick winners. Their ignorance makes them free. For a while. Until gravity sets in. Then a long learning curve begins. In the end, I think we have to regain that childlike quality. Except this time there is wisdom behind it. This is not easy to do. Picasso said he could paint like Da Vinci when he was nineteen, but it took him a lifetime to learn to paint like a child.

Well, I just came off a 7 day 0-"forget about it" streak, lost every bet in every sport, NCAAF, NCAAB, NBA, and NHL for 7 days. Fortunately for me I always back way off on bet size if I hit a rough patch.

I was thinking about that childlike quality. I remember when I first started, in MLB I could do no wrong. But, I didn't know enough to think too much. I think that is the problem now, thinking too much.

Yesterday was a good day. Hopefully today will be too.

Why shouldn't a gay person have a gay avatar?
