I think the Jags are the team that can knock off the Pats. They have a great running game, a sufficient passing game, and a very good defense. I believe this game could come down to 1 or 2 big plays/turnovers/special teams plays who knows. I think its going to be a very close game. The NE defense is overrated if you ask me and I dont think Taylor or Jones-Drew will have problems finding holes in the running game. As for the passing game the wr's all average at about 6'4" besides Northcutt who is the speedy wr. The Pats DB's are short, look for Garrard to take chances on single coverage jump balls to his wrs. I really want to take the ML and I probably will for a small amount but in the playoffs and on the road I will put most my money on the +13. I also think this game will be a lower scoring game. It is the playoffs and its a whole new season here, I really dont think this score goes over 50 I would be surprised if it did.

    Jax 23

    NE 20

Seattle has the Coach, the passing game, and the defense. There running game is weak but Morris is the bigger threat rather than Alexander. If Seattle's passing game is in full stride watchout GB might not know what hit them, that being said I think GB's db's are good enough that they will slow down the Seahawks. I really think this game is going to be low scoring. I think Seattles defense is one of the most underrated defenses in all of the NFL and I think they will give Favre and the offense fits.

I have the Under and Seahawks as well. Didn't touch the GB over/under or Jags with the points. Decided I was gonna make a 7 pt teaser and get NE down to -6.5, Over/Under 57. I'm with you in thinking there is no way this game gets to 50. The Jags cannot win this game in a shootout. They know that and I doubt there gonna wanna air the ball out. Every team that has tried to beat NE in the offensive column has got burnt one way or the other against this team. You simply cannot put out out the NE offense you can only hope to contain in it. With that said the Jags need to hold on to the ball as much as possible, however even knowing that, NE is to shrewd and to smart to even let the Jags think they have a remote shot at winning this game or being productive offensively. The reason I didn't take NE -13.5 is because the spread is going to come down to some 4th quarter play and I feel that the under is the play that will not have to be sweat out. Jags are now also back on the road, in the playoffs, in another hostile situation. You gotta only think how much last week took out of them when they blew there big lead then had to fight back on the final drive just to win. If anything the Jags have shot there wad and are now playing with house money.

Good post, your right the Jags have to slow the game down, get their running game going and play good defense. They pretty much have to play a perfect game and I think they can do that. I really like this Jags team, the question is will Garrard be able to make the plays in the passing game? I think he can... GL today RMC

Damn well the Under 43 in the GB/SEA game is over already before the 2nd half starts... Thats what I get for not listening to Mo and his write up on the Over! I really liked this under... **** ME! Well hopefully Seattle can cover at least to break even otherwise its a horrible start to NFL today
