Default McFadden will be better than Adrian Peterson

Not! He will be a bust, maybe not Ryan Leaf status, but he won't be nearly as good as the hype. Legs aren't strong enough and his vision isn't at an elite level.

i was going to argue, but i see there is no need. well, i think peterson/lt will be the two best and mcfadden will be just a bit below. i think he'll see a pro-bowl or 6 before hes done.

I don't see his success in college translating to the NFL at all, but feel free to bump this thread when he breaks Dickerson's record next year

a lot will have to do with the line he plays behind. if he ends up in mia, all the best to him.

Parcells got to be a lock to take a defensive player with their pick especially with Brown in town.

Jonathan Stewart (Oregon) is the best back in the draft.

#1 rb recruit a few years back. came down to oregon and tennessee. nice player. stewart, Mendenhall, jones, mcfadden make a nice class of backs.

I can't see the fins passing up a DL man of dorseys caliber. They should be like the texans, draft smart and go with a pro browl dl man.

Agree, though I think Johnson from ECU will be a nice steal in the draft as well.

rice and choice are good players as well. johnson will probably be a 2nd rounder. a sleeper, imo, is callender (boston college) who ive seen ranked as low as 41rst at RB.

Tim Ryan wrote an article about this saying McFadden is grossly overrated. I'll try to find it.

Sorry it was Brian Baldinger. He feels pretty passionately that McFadden is overrated. Here's his article, Think McFadden is a can't-miss NFL prospect? Think again.

I think Peterson had a great season and will be a great back, but I do worry about how long he will last, his style may cause him to miss a lot of games, on top of that if he stays in Minn and they dont give him a passer to open things up then he will continue to have an upward battle as teams get more prepared for him.....I think Mcfadden will end up on the level as Reggie Bush....still not bad.
