I guess desktop since i"m running 2 desktops 1 19 inch monitor 1 24 inch monitor plus my laptop when i'm betting. Laptops are fine but you need space on the screen which I got.

A desktop no matter how good your laptop is will always outperform a laptop with speed and power no matter what.

agreed. desktop has faster processor. desktop much more stable and a better operating unit all together.

Also much more room for expansion in a desktop. You can upgrade it down the line to suit your needs. A laptop, you need a screwdriver to even open and you don't want to mess something up, plus you are more limited in terms of what you can add. I've installed video cards and RAM easily in desktops.

I like laptop because is mobile and doesn't weigh a ton. It also frees one more room in the house because it doesn't need it's own desk and chair.

Laptop hands down, you can take it anywhere and especially now the prices are low you can get a good deal and everything is right there.
