RCS was also in the C range up to the day they faulted.

i may be incorrect, but i believe they were rated d at best.anyway, all of this is a gamble.the risk/reward for 25% seems justified since they have been in business 8 years and have a c rating.i have a lot of action to give and like to spread it around

Book safety has nothing to do with a book going under in your case. The only people involed in it are you and your agent. He's the one responsible for paying you.

regarding the agent issue, nelson, the agent,i.m.o.,is simply an employee of action bets, and whatever liability might accrue would lie with the sportsbook, not the employee.i never got the $25 and i called cris about it and they didnt credit it either, john,i added to a thread about the free 25 at cris, could you inquire on my behalf

Jumper, I think a credit account at Action where the book not the agent is backing the accounts is a nice opportunity. Action has never had a slow pay as far as I am aware. Pretty solid for a low key book. I like them.

i sent action 3 dimes got 25%,6x.

magnovox- No, I didn't get my $25 and I consider this a slow pay.
Jumper- We may discussing two different things. An agent is someone that gives you credit that is not an employee of a book. If a book goes under you pay the agent if you are down and get paid by the agent if you are up. That's much different than getting credit directly from the book or posting up. |

On another note. For legal reasons do not play with agents or become one. If you win money through post up pay your taxes.

thanks,if anyone wants to give action a try, please ask for nelson since he gets commissions for new customers.he,s a good guy.25% cash,6x, is a good bonus and one that i often associate with a riskier book.

I got the same thing. This was my reply.
Hey buddy this is ****, and I’m with action bets.com Why bet with action bets.com 1) 8 years offering players the best service in the business. 2) 8% juice on all straight wagers. 3) Better Parlay odds. 4) Like to bet Teasers, A push is a push. 5) 10%, 20% or 25% cash bonus No 30 day rule, 6 time roll over. 6) No fees on deposits. 7) 90 minutes free payouts. 8) Deposit 229 or more and receive a pager. Why bet anywhere else. Stop thinking about it, reply to this email if you want to jump on this great offer that only Action bets has. Regards **** 11/30/2005 11:04:00 AM SBR mailbag: Actionbets player submits negative feedback. Player reports ActionBets(SBR rating C) refusing to honor free monthly Neteller withdrawal as stated on website. Player also complains that his payout request was initially denied resulting in a one day delay. "I requested a $4532 Neteller withdrawal via their website on the evening of Sunday Nov. 27. The funds, minus fees, were sent promptly after I re-submitted the withdrawal request. They do not process payouts on Monday that are submitted over a weekend. I have received the funds minus $60. $30 for each Neteller transaction required to send the payout." "I don’t feel this is consistent with what is stated on actionbets’ website" -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Not in this lifetime ****. This book looks worse than Rich Coast and we all know what happened there.[i] Last edited by Aces; 01-20-06 at 06:26 PM.. |

"I don’t feel this is consistent with what is stated on actionbets’ website"
This specific customer's payout was originally requested on Sunday and was denied. On www.actionbets.com we have ALWAYS stated very specifically that payouts are processed Monday through Friday. Hence, we denied his Sunday payout request, but not without an email explaining why we had denied it and prompting him to request his payout again on Monday. He did request it the next day and was paid less than an hour after he requested his money on Monday. So his payout was not delayed at all. He would have received his money on Monday either way. As for the $60: The largest amount you can get on a Neteller payout to receive a free payout is $2,500. Which carries a $30 fee. And if you request a free payout in one day you cannot receive another payout that same day. Since he requested more than the $2,500, he was charged for both of his transactions. Check out the payout rules here: http://www.actionbets.com/index.cfm?page=payouts Also, please take a look at the fact that he was paid out. If our customers are going to hold us to our rules, then it is only fair that they also follow those rules. This is a two-way street. Please be fair and take a look at both sides of the situation. As for the Rich Coast employees at Action Bets, we did hire two people from Rich Coast. When a person loses their job, they look for a new one. We are growing and we were in need of more employees, so we hired them. Just because a sportsbook has a hard time, does that mean that all of it's employees are bad? Does it mean that any book that they work at is going to be a bad book? Once again, please be fair.

I have to agree with the book here. The rules are written. If you don't like the rules then don't play there.

To be fair, I just looked at the online payout rules, and it's written very clearly there, unlike in BK's post which appeared pretty convoluted to me. So I apologize for poking fun too quickly.
On the other hand, I get uncomfortably when books go out of their way to squeeze $30 in this manner. If you're willing to allow players $30 in free Neteller withdrawal fees per month, then why not just do it without a bizarre rule like "if you want to take $5,000 out via Neteller, but you want your $2,500 free payout, then you will have to take $2,500 today and $2,500 tomorrow." Maybe there's a reason for this that I don't understand, but on the surface it just seems annoying for no apparent purpose other than to suprise customers who don't comb carefully through the payout rules. But Raiders is right, it's written clearly and I would chose not to play there. Last edited by MrX; 01-21-06 at 02:40 PM.. |

I think they were wrong at the time on charging $60 instead of $30. Neither side was willing to budge or call the other to resolve, so Action didn't refund the money and the player complained all over the forums. Some times it seems neither side wants to resolve the issue.
That said Action has a record of playing forum players for at least four years without any slow pays or no pays. |

But lets be just here. Can you judge Action Bets based on what happened at another book? I mean, RCS was a book that opened less than a year ago. And whether it is a book or any other type of company, can expect a company to be 100% solid before they've even reached a one-year mark? Some companies make it, some don't. That's true of any type of company. And this HAS been a tough year for sportsbooks. And Rich Coast did go out of business, but they made sure to make a deal with another company to make sure that all the players got paid, even when they themselves could not pay it. As for Action Bets, we did not open this season. We have been around for 8 years. We've operated under that name for the whole time. We're not going anywhere. We're financially solid. As for the rule of the free payout per month. I don't see it any different than having a rollover on our cash bonuses when you deposit. Some bonuses carry stipulations with them. The stipulation on the free payout is one of them. Once per calendar month, you receive a free payout. We do have some rules on that. We have an amount limit depending on the payout method (WU, Neteller, Cashier's check). And the other rule we have on free payouts is that if you take a free payout, then you cannot get another payout for that day We inform our customers, if they call to request the payout, we tell them about the free payout and the rules that go with it. If they go on the live chat, we do the same. We also post the information on the website. We inform our customers so that they can plan out their choices. For example, if your payout is urgent and you need a larger amount than the free payout allows, you will know to save your free payout for the month until later. The free payout will still be there waiting for you. But if there is no urgency, you can take part of the money that day as a free payout and the other part the next day. And as long as your request is made via Western Union or Neteller, you will receive your payout within 90 minutes of when you request it. We process payouts from Monday through Friday, from 7:30 AM Pacific Time until 90 minutes before the last Half time goes off the board.

All good points BK.
The payout fees are unimportant to me. Book stability is. I always like to see someone from the book in the forum so welcome aboard. My hostilities lie with Rich Coast and not Action Bets and yes you have been around for 8 years and that says allot for your book. Adam is a great guy to deal with and Nelson I dont know. |

Thanks for the welcome Aces.
I mostly just read the forums. Don't post much. I've been reading SBR, RX, MajorWager, for a lot longer than I have been posting. I like to keep up with what's going on. The payout fees are unimportant to me. Book stability is. I always like to see someone from the book in the forum so welcome aboard. My hostilities lie with Rich Coast and not Action Bets and yes you have been around for 8 years and that says allot for your book. And does that mean that you"ll be giving us a shot? ![]() Hehe.... had to get that in there...

Nelson was at Apex which turned to shit.
Then he called me when he started up at richcoast. We all know what happened there. In no way am I insinuating he is responsible for those two failures, but its just something to take into consideration. He did lie to me through his teeth when Apex was going down which was enough to keep me away from RCS. I have heard nothing but good things about Action. They've been around for a while and I know people who have played there with tremendous satisfaction. The Nelson factor certainly is a strange one though. I dont like being lied to. Plain and simple. |

Hey pags11,
just so you can have little bit more peace of mind, here's a link to a post at another forum. This is actually about Ram Jet, Action Bets' sister company. Same promo, same rules, both under the Action Bets Network (www.abetnet.com). http://p090.ezboard.com/fthepigpostf...opicID=5.topic

I've gotten pretty large payouts from actionbets with no problems. THey even sent me some Costa Rican coffee.
My one suggestion to actionbets is to advise your RCs employees not to go sending out emails to players saying "hi, remember me from RCS, well now I'm at actionbets..." I think it's great that you guys hired these people. But if you were someone who was playing at RCS and you were greatful to have gotten out with all of your money, the last thing you are going to do is put your trust in one of thier former emplaoyees. If anything your are going to assume that they are likely at another small shop that will soon go under. |
