I was definetly gambling at about 13 or so, on :

    jai alai, pool,badminton,NFL, Monopoly,Battleship,lottery,etc.

I made good money at 13 with my paper route.

By 16 , I made more money working PT at a union grocery store than my mother did working FT as head teller at a bank. I made over half of what a school teacher did at the time, part of the reason why I never really went to college.

I started betting with my dad and grandfather when I was 9 or 10 to get extra money in my allowence or get out of chores or something. Really got into sports bettingin my early 20's at work. Went offshore a few years later and found it was a bit tougher then beating people at work, took a step back and learned to cap and beat the books.

Made my first bet in first grade, so put me down for six years old. Got no-paid by my classmate I made the bet with and beat up by his older brother to boot. Have hated the Cubs ever since.

Age seven I created a craps layout on the back of my mothers sewing board. Ran the game using marbles as betting units {mostly cat eyes and bolders**. Age nine I was grading parley cards for my father's side operation. By fifteen I was betting horses at the race track [I looked old for my age]. I started very early in life ,as the saying goes "You should make at least one bet a day. You could be walking around lucky and not know it"

my sister taught me craps when I was 11 (didn't like it). I guess you could say I started betting on sports in Jr. High with the NCAA tournament bracket, and guess what, it was rigged, haha. He had one of his good friends win, and then they cut the winnings.

Thats funny, my buddy and I would pass out March Madness brackets in high school, then tell all the chumps that got in that his cousin or someone outside the school won and we would pocket the money and take it to the race track Messed up but we had to make some money somehow at that age

To answer the thread, I was about 11 or 12. I lived very close to Laurel Race track and I worked there on the weekends walking or grooming the horses. Started betting other groomers there on whos stable would win more races

Started first year in college at 18...betting sports...lived and breathed Pro Football Weekly. Use to pick it up at a 7 eleven every week with a coffee and pick my teasers in the parking lot...Im sure everyone knows how well that went

When I was 19 my Dad took me and 2 roommates to Vegas for my bday

We used fake ID's and played BlackJack at the Mirage and then went across the street from Caesars to a little irish casino that had $2 tables...lol

Had a great time and as soon as we got home we started doing night missions after 2am to AC...this went about as well as the sports picks from Pro Football Weekly lol

in the seventh grade i made a bet on a football game with my choir teacher for a quarter. i remember after that having trouble coming up with the quarter on monday and i felt awful about that. in high school i gave a guy 20 points in a playoff game at 1 - 20 odds and my team won i think 28 - 0. he still owes me the 400 dollars.

I don't consider little bets with friends and family members real sports betting, so the first time I gambled was off-shore when I was 15 (using my parents CC). The CC company called my parents, thought the charge was fraud, and I had to come clean to them. Took 2 years off from that until I got my own account, and took it back up. Haven't looked back since (only 20 now anyway though).
