Im leaning towards laying the points. daniels and seawright give RI a couple 6-8 forwards that are pretty good on the glass, and we all know this team has guys that can knock down the 3, but this dayton team seems to be on a mission at this point. they put a whoopin on pitt a couple games back and they took it to lousiville on the road. some will look at their last game and see that akron took them to ot, but 1) akron is a good team and 2) may have been a look ahead spot after a big win over pitt and with rhode island coming to town. The country has gotten to know Roberts this season as hes posted 28 on louis and 31 on pitt already this season. the flyers have won 11 in a row and i look for them to make is 12 after tonights big a-10 show down.

i was looking over the forum and it seemed that everyone was on dayton, typically not a great thing. at first glance i was on ri ml, then i looked over it a bit and dayton became my play. hopefully i didnt over think the thing and take myself off a win.

Believe what you will, but the premier team in the conference is playing in Amherst tonight, not Dayton, while Martelli's squad is more than capable this season and will contend with RI and Dayton atop the conference, but behind the Minutemen.

thanks. i lost some umass, asu over, duke, won some pitt, uga, odu, it was a decent day. played more than i wanted and didnt look into the games as much as i should have. you can move this to the ncaa room, i just wanted to ask mr rjt about his minutemen.

My proclamation of UMass/St. Joe's being the bigger game was basically because, while Dayton and URI are/were the more publicized teams, I think UMass and St. Joe's both have a great shot of finishing atop the league alongside Dayton, URI and Xavier. Both were very good games tonight. In such a closely contested conference, losing a home game early on in league play kills. Bad loss for UMass. After losing Lasme, their interior defense and lack of frontcourt size is the primary weakness, and Nivins completely exposed this area tonight. St. Joe's fared better than I expected in playing at UMass' pace. Impressive win for Martelli's boys.

Not my Minutemen at all. Just think they're an underrated team and Ford's one of the better young coaches around.
