I think the only suprising thing was that they lasted this long. DOn't imagine they have too many players left. These guys had no clue how to run their operation.

that A's prop bet they took down didn't help there matters at all either.

They were just being dishonest in that area. I remember about a year earlier before the A's prop bet when they yelled and screamed (and of course did not honor) about a bet that was made at just a couple of cents better line than available elsewhere.

I didn't think was anything wrong with them, just another new book that couldn't make money off the forum crowd, same old same old. Only good thing is looks like they will pay their players were Play The Score didn't.

BCN did cancel some bets that shouldn't have been cancelled at times. With the A's future there were some shot takers at the RX that realized that this truely was a bad line and tried to extort money from the book since they advertised at the RX.

Mandalay Bay offered odds at 300-1 two weeks prior to BCN accepting wagers at 200-1 for the A's to win the world series. BCN cancelled the wagers days after they accepted the bets because Oak continued to win and the Angels were swept by Tor.

What you have is a phony watchdog site taking protection money. To side with BCN in this issue was a clear cut case of paid protection. 100% of respected posters from multiple forum sites sided with the players who made the A's futures.

Talking rules between offshore books and Vegas are night and day. The gambling commision would have forced the Mandalay Bay to pay. In that two weeek period that you are talking about the A's went on a roll. The odds that BCN offered on the A's future was out of line to what other offshore books posted.

Off topic mostly, but I had some A's division bets at 12-1 that I had given up on, then got excited about around that time, only for them to collapse late. I know their schedule was tough, but still sucked them losing so much at end of season.
