Default Why do people keep joining books with less then an "A"

Their are books that are so superior to the others, why do people keep joining the others? . . .

    MatchBook
    5Dimes
    Wsex
    Bookmaker
    pinnacle
    BetJAM
    Greek

That is plenty of books to shop for a solid line, just join them!

    or you will be . . .

Sometime lower rated books offer better lines and bonuses.

Some of the other ones that offer better bonuses but they are a little more risky and they don't have a track record to speak of yet. Some of them are probably pretty good that are not known about yet that they have a B or a C rating.

But their is a reason they have to offer more bonuses . . .what good is a bonus if you don't get paid, its just a # on the screen. . .

although i dont play anywhere else but "A" rated, i think that if you're going to keep a small balance in another C or B rated book you should be safe. most of people who have problems with them are the ones that took them for A LOT of money.

Because, while in most cases SBR's ratings are fairly accurate, they're not concrete. For example, I wouldn't rate 5Dimes anything higher than a 'C.' BetOnline is another shop with no business being an 'A' book. There are plenty of 'B' books that are safe and worthwhile outs.

Personally, when I deposit at lower rated books for their bonus I try to scalp out of them to a better book such at BetJM or Pinnacle.

For example, I recently posted up at BetMania for only $300 as I recieved a $200 freeplay, and a $25 free bet on the BCS Championship game. Excellent bonus.

I use common sense and could care less where you have accounts. Did you have one at Cascade as well? Just because a book isn't rated A, doesn't mean it will stiff you.

also doesn't mean it wont . . . just seems like someone gets beat by a low rated book every week. . .

I use A books for the most part but I use some B+ books that are excellent. Intertops and Guardian are very good and pay quickly. Some A- books I can't say the same like BetOnline and BestLine. They take awhile.

SBR has a www.Betbtw.com rated at D. And I have never had problem with them.

Nowadays, I would recommend just sticking with the top books...if you want to get paid, that is.

Bingo!!!!! Sometimes they are slow to move lines creating arb and middle opportunites. Yesterday I got BYU over 141.5 and under 144 within 2 minutes of each other. I just missed cashing the middle but the 141.5 line wouldn't have been hung out at any of the places you mentioned.

Lots of people have no clue what a good book is therefore players play at lower rated books.

lower rated books offer more teaser options than other books.

How many books offer anywhere from 4-12 pt hoop teasers or 6 to 16pt teasers in football.

Show me some good books that do that offer reduce juice and carry a A rating or a B rating and I'll listen.

I find Carib to be a nice B rated book. Been with them 6-7 years with hardly a problem. They sorta fly under the radar, by that I mean you don't hear too much about them. Customer service is great, rebate on horses, sign on is quick and what I best like about them, along with the Greek, is that they don't time out. The 15 minute timeout that most houses employ, really bothers me. I wonder whythey do it......I mean the goal is to take in wagers. All things being equal, who are you going to place a wager with, a screen that is still on and in front of you, or one that you have to go through the login process again with ??

Lower rated books are lower rated in the opinion of Sportsbookreview. That need not necessarily be my opinion. Therefore I play with 'lower rated books'. I consider the rating guide as a very good hint besides other hints to decide which books to use but not as a 'bible' who is always right.

I too feel that Carib is a very good B rated book that could very arguably be a B+/A- rated type book by some.

The one problem I have with them is their sticky bonuses. Maybe it's just me and all, but the "10% sticky" re-up bonus doesn't exactly make me go out of my way to play with them.

You might wanna check out PayOffsPlus (aka BetPop). Now granted it they have a B- rating here at SBR, but a very solid stability wise being part of the First Fidelity family of books.

They offer very nice bonuses, teasers, pleaser's and sweetheart pleaser's, along with some of the best parlay/teaser odds out there. The drawback is that they have been known to boot players, but seem to be fair about it during the exit stage.

The only thing I really disliked about them is the fact that they will cold call you all the time, but the it's a small price to pay for what they have to offer.

I second the notion for Carib being extremely solid. They have excellent customer support, prompt payouts, and the lines are unique as well. However, I would bump them up to B+ but they wouldn't get an A due to the high processing fees one gets when withdrawing from there. I wasted 65$ just getting my withdrawal.

Noticed 2k limits on pleasers, but nothing in print about the limits on teasers. Any idea?
