Clemens wasn't being truthful.

Looked more like a man fairly certain there wasn't any hard evidence on him, so was trying to do some damage control for the sake of his reputation and what was once his 'good name'. He's clearly too much of a meathead to come right out and swallow his pride like Pettite did.

The way he'd answer some questions and from reading his eyes I'd wager a good amount on him having injected more than vitamins in his ass.

Mike Wallace stated that the trainer refused to comment for this interview. Even if it was one-sided Clemens didn't look good imo. It's all damage control now for him. Hopefully he'll get under oath sometime soon and we'll see how he answers.

I don't think CBS 'refused' to interview the rat McNamee at all. And anyone who thinks that polygraph tests are all-knowing is extremely naive.

I guess what amazes me is that so many people are instantly backing McNamee as a completely honest person, that and how many mind readers we seem to have on this site. Must be a wonderful ability to be able to see into someone's heart and know without a shadow of a doubt whether a guy like Clemens is lying or not.

Not sure how many of you listened to the press conference with the tape played, but I have a feeling a lot of folks who have already convicted Clemens in the court of public opinion are going to be left with egg on their face.

Is it possible that McNamee told Clemens it was B-12 but was actually steroids? After all Clemens said he never provided the B12 so how does he know what is being injected. Plus McNamee would have alot to gain keeping Clemens at the top of his game by picking up more clients.
Maybe they both are telling the truth.

You cannot possibly be serious with this. McNamee repeatedly asked Clemens what he wanted him to do, and not once did Clemens give him an answer. He tip toed around the question, because Clemens knows that he took steroids. Clemens repeatedly said that he wanted someone to tell the truth. McNamee never said that he told the truth. Ipso facto, according to your tenuous point of view, Clemens must be telling the truth.

Well, it's good to know you haven't already made up your mind about the matter.

Personally, I could care less if Clemens or any other player tried/used/abused steroids and the rest of the crap. And if Clemens, or anyone else, is lying, then I'm quite sure that a truthful body without an agenda of its own such as the US Congress will get to the bottom of it (note sarcasm).

But let's face it, the majority of the people have simply chosen to convict Clemens regardless of the facts, and that's a sad, sad thing to have happen.

Clemens isn't the type of guy who can pass a lie detector test. Scott Peterson, is the type of sociopath capable of passing one. Clemens nerves were bothering him that whole time in his 60 minutes interview, just look at the way he kept moving his hands, taking a sip of his water, etc. His eyes were also a clear indicator.
