They just came out with the new poll in New Hampshire and Obama has now went from a dead tie to a double-digit lead. He will most likely be the Democratic nominee with an outside small chance of Hillary coming back just because she has some funds to work with. Obama is the guy to bet on and on my book the lines have already moved to adjust for the new poll.

Democrats will lose again, this time because of a black or female candidate.

I'm really suprised so many of you think the Republicans will win. Obama is bringing in independent voters, 1st time voters, and many Republican voters as well. He has a 54% favorable rating among Republican voters. Also, Bloomberg will not run if Obama is on the ticket which is good news for Democrats b/c he would have played a huge spoiler role.
On the other hand most Republicans are extremely disapointed with their choices, and the longer it takes for them to decide who their canidate is the more it appears their party doesn't have a real leader/winner. I really honestly can't see any canidate from the Republican side beating Obama. (I even took the Republicans to win the election at +180 when I thought it might be against Hillary).

problem is that you jumped to conclusions that i was a racist because i said i'm not a fan of obama or clinton (i'm a republican) and you also jumped to conclusions because i said that america will never vote for a black or woman (when i was saying america wouldn't because they aren't ready) which has nothing to do with me or being a raciest.

Obama or Huckabee? I guess I can see how they might seem interchangeable to most people. One is the religious right's wet dream and the other is their bloody nightmare.
Lately, Republicans have been better about putting forth a candidate that has a chance to win an election, therefore you can be certain Huckabee will not win the nomination.
McCain....Looks dazed and confused most if the time. Just kind of glossy eyed like he's popped a Xanax 30 minutes earlier. Wants to escalate the war, immigration amnesty, etc. He's not the answer.
Romney....If Romney craps the bed again in NH he might just throw in the towel. It's just a matter of time though anyhow before someone starts asking direct questions about the Mormon beliefs that will shock mainstream Christians and then he's done. He's a fader.
Huckabee....Probably the best bet they have even though (Or because?) he rubs shoulders with the Uber religious right. Some of the people he is palling around with sound like the Taliban I shit you not. 'Women should not be allowed to work unless with the consent of their husbands'. etc.
Guiliani....The win Florida, New York, Illinois, Texas & California and screw the rest of the US strategy makes me throw up in my own mouth. An unlikeable, lispy prick from NYC is not going to play well in the Nascar belt, the rust belt or the Midwest. We'll know where he stands when we reach Florida.
Paul.....In my opinion he has the best chance of winning the general election but the battle to get the GOP nomination will be a much tougher fight. I think the GOP would rather lose with Romney/McCain/Huckabee than win with Paul.
I cannot see a Republican winning this time around considering what Bush has one to our country, that wouldn't be too smart I think. The only one that has a good chance that looks honest and would turn things around would be Huckabee, that guy is a decent person and I really believe he would be a good President.

I think you can lose both and survive (if you get two seperate winners), but if the same canidate wins both they usually win. Clinton came-back in '92 after losing both, but 2 different people won Iowa and New Hampshire so there wasn't as much momentum to break. I believe only once in the current system did somebody win both Iowa and NH and not win and that was over 30 years ago.
So it really does go a long way IF Obama wins both.
The best way to make money with this new price on Obama is to bet it. It's going to be all downhill from here. I'm not sold that he's going to win the general election in a cakewalk, however. As a matter of fact, I wouldn't be surprised if we see McCain-Obama in the general election with McCain prevailing.

I'm not suggesting that they are interchangable candidates. I'm just an independent that won't be completely satisfied with the policies of anyone who enters office but these two seem genuine to me. If there's anything that is more troubling to me about the current administration, its their propensity to blatantly lie to us on a constant basis. I don't think you would see this nearly as much with either Obama or Huckabee. All the other candidates seem just as shady as Bush and his henchmen.
Obama is the new president of the US after tomorrow. The way the economy is going and the war in Iraq, 8 years of frustation with the Bush adminstration will have the voters venting at the polls to kick the GOP out for good.

I just looked at Rassmussen's poll numbers (which are the truest poll numbers out there), and Obama is DOUBLE digits ahead in BOTH NH, and SC. Clinton's national 20 point lead last week is GONE, and it's a dead heat nationally. This has IMPLOSION written all over it. Obama will have this wrapped up in a couple weeks. The Clintonestas are considering anything less then a double digit loss in NH a success. That won't even happen. Obama wins NH BIG, wins SC BIG, and all the rats will jump the sinking Clinton ship. While when Edwards drops out, all his support will go to Obama.
Trust me folks, I was a poll analysts years back. This thing is so over its ridiculous. The only way Obama possibly looses is that he makes a monumental gaff, which I just don't see happening. He's as sharp and articulate as they come as a speaker.
