My girlfriend and I make small bets ($300-$500) Bet on the Net.
But we make all our big bets with local. She says its easier to not pay uncle sam our winning tax.

I'm having a hard time right now trying to move Neteller money back to my pocket.
I had been trying to move few dimes through EFT everyday, but I'm worry bank will show. This week I keep doing $801.50 through Neteller Debit everyday and it's kinda troublesome.
What's a good way to move huge load without showing any red flags?

Out of interest, what's the chance of getting stiffed by a local?Originally Posted by bigboydan

A few years back when I lived in the detroit area I took my local for 4k. After that run he just wanted to pay me a % like a affiliate. He asked me to not do him no more harm on the bankroll. He was actually a guy that i playd friday night cards with so it was good of the guy to be honest and not rip me off. He just straight up told me he couldn't take my action anymore. I declined the % offer and 4 months later I moved to Florida. I still talk to him on occasion and he's still takin bets.
Down here in FLA I bet with one then made a 1200 run on him and he cut me off. Since then strictly offshore. APPLE

TacoNot that I can ever see you in this position but the odds of getting stiffed from a local are the same as an offshore book. Some locals you must pay or suffer the consequenses but you will always be paid. Others you can stiff with no problem but they may also stiff you.Out of interest, what's the chance of getting stiffed by a local?

most peoples experiences when dealing with locals are. they usualy bet thru a friend of a friend, or something like that. and, if thats the case, you might as well bet offshore. because, thats when you might get the stiff job.
theres also locals that might book bets for like 10-20 people. if thats the case, then your might have to wait a few extra days to get paid pending on the collecting from the losers.
then there are the true locals !!
those are the locals that only certain people get access too. because, those types of locals are not ones to f\*\*k with. these types of locals i'm refering will pay you like clock work no matter what. but, if your on the other side of the spectrum and you owe one week, then watch out. because, those are the type of people that will send out there own collectors![]()

Good info, BBD. Gambling is legal where I am so I've not got experience of this kind of stuff.Originally Posted by bigboydan
I presume you bet with the "true locals"? If you're able to manage your money then it seems like the safest option.

in regards to a safe option, well nothings ever safe when dealing with either offshore or locals. but, if i had to make a comparision at all. i would rate true locals as about as safe as cris or pinny.

It's a neccessity. I may have to lay 110 ,but where else can I get weak numbers like that. Also I may not be big on parlays, but they can't adjust their numbers on those cards. The cards will roll in on Tuesday. Turn them back in on Saturday and still get their opening number. Unreal.

local bookie can't afford to stiff bettor,if word gets out he could lose all his customer.sportsbooks have too big a base to worry about losing 10-20 bettors like a local could.

What vig do your bigger locals give you BBD? Several years ago, it was sometimes only 2% here (on larger wagers), but usually 3% as standard for his regular customers (minimum bet would be a dime though).

owned, i've never seen any locals give a 2-3 cent line ever!
the locals i mainly use nowadays are on a dime line. but, there are two that use a 20 cent line on over/unders.
theres one local i always use for bases though. basicly because he has a true dime line upto -190
