I log on to read about people getting screwed by foreigners at sportsbooks, get some picks, and share some insight, but instead I'm bombarded by threads calling for mofome, started by the clan of morons swinging from his nutsack.

Mofome, with all due respect, I don't think you're that good of a handicapper. Too much of a Southern bias. The idiots you drag around are even worse.

When I log in and see 8 threads with your name in the title on the front page, there is a problem. Don't your butt buddies know how to use the PM feature?

The Player's Talk forum seems to have taken on kind of a sports radio feel to it, with Mo as DJ/master of ceremonies. I don't know if it's better or worse then reading thread after thread about how this book screwed me out of xyz dollars, or what are the best ways to deposit into book so and so. One thing though, if these guys have the energy to keep it up at this pace for more than a month, I'd be impressed.

I too am more interested in this, however I do laugh sometimes at the other posts. I would suggest perhaps splitting Players Talk or adding a new Heading of Bookie Complaints and Questions or something along that line. It sure would make it easier than trying to read thread after thread of non sense...

That's the point I was trying to make in another thread, which has given me much heat and one Mod's warning. No need to start a thread "hey Mo" or "props to IQ"--when there's a perfectly fine PM system in place.

Agreed, and I have no problems with any of these new guys/gals, but IMO its getting a little out of hand in the players talk forum. All the hi so and so and back and forth should be done pm or e-mail.

I wasn't aware that u are your "buddies" were forced at gun point to read the threads. It's too hard for you guys to overlook them and read something that interests you. You call "mofome and his posse" Immature. But you and your "buddies" are crying everyday in posts and causing man-drama each day. Maybe you should look into the mirror first, before you try to rip others. Just a thought tho......

Agreed ... if MoFo and his crew irritates you ... just look to the other way ... I have seen his picks and they are solid hits ... so I personally think he is an asset to this forum ... even though Im just a rookie

Maybe you should learn how to use the PM feature first instead of starting a thread "Yo Mo" or "sending love to Ice". The vast number of these threads coupled with the JJ fluff threads, leaves very little room on the front page.

As long as nobody is verbally abusing a poster who really cares what they write. It sounds like you may be a little upset that you don't have any friends yourself.

It was worth it to prove a point. The daily howdy threads were getting out of hand and I had enough. My only regret was going off on Ice Queen who I apolgized to by PM. So we're cool, but the rest of the newbies should learn how to use this function too. Fair enough, friend.

That's not the case at all. I can understand instinctively feeling that way when a few threads like this have been made, and particularly because those threads have included totally irrelevant personal remarks. There was a common theme in all of those topics though.

The complaint is about the quality of Players Talk going down a notch. To be honest, it has. Now I know that's going to register to you guys as a personal attack, but it's not. We're all here for the same reasons, sports talk, gambling, with some OT sprinkled in. When that order is reversed, quality suffers.

I get what you're saying. I don't personally have a problem with anyone. I use two other forums and when I go through threads that I don't seem interested in I just skip them. The only problem with complaining about them imo is that it just makes it worse. If I see a thread titled "I like gay men, do you?" I'm gonna skip it.

Every site I have ever seen has one particular forum where people talk about all kinds of unrelated sports stuff. As long as it's kept out of the NFL, NBA, etc.. threads just skip over what you don't like.

what with all the drama-queens. i post about sports and gambling, thats what i talk about. ive won more than i lost. people complain about picks and sports, but ive won and posted 99% sports here and in the sports forums. it would make a bit more sense if your issues were based on facts, instead of fiction.
