Default I'm bowling! But Va tech and Kansas is a tough one

I'm on a bowl tear and I know I should lay off this game but with only two good games left, I dont want to!!

I looked at this game from 47 angles and I think it comes down to 2 things. 1) The Kansas defense should do well against this predictable offense. 2) Va Techs very good defense will give Kansas trouble but Kansas ball control will begin to wear them down.

My best bet is 1st half Under 25.5
Also taking Kansas on the Money Line at +135

Im not gonna take Kansas and the points or the Under for the game.

as silly as it seems, when taylor is in, vt may actually be better against teams that put a lot of pressure on the QB. His ability to create with his feet is their most dangerous offense threat. ie: running for first on 3rd and 31 vs fsu. kansas is 80th in the nation in sacks, there may not be a lot of broken plays for taylor to capitalize on.
however, vt has the advantage in special teams, experience, and coaching. bud foster may be the best DC in NCAAF and beamer has been in big games many times before. kansas will be going up against a very tough defense, as we all know, and its likely that they'll have to settle for fgs even on some of their better drives, but their kicker is only 2 of 5 on kicks outside of 40 yards. every point counts in a game like this, i lean with vt.

I love this Under too. But not a season that has produced a lot of unders.

This is a game much like Mich/Fl and Okla/WV when sharps and the public sided with the fav based on talent and team speed. Once the pigskin is kicked I think we are going to find the bookmakers were right to make this a near pick line. The +135 on the ML to me has the value. In a tight game I just dont trust VT. Once their defense wears down a little they are just an avg team. The key to VT backers is to keep Kan from getting first downs so VT's defense can stay fresh. And thats my angle, I dont think they can.

I have Kansas ML +150 already from about 2 weeks ago. I have done terrible on underdog money lines tough, so far 0-6.

I like Va Tech, that and I've got to throw in the fade SBR John factor here. You've been on the money lately, the NFL too, so I think you're due for a letdown bud.

    Good luck.

Va Tech has scoring problems therefore you take points against teams like this.

Early pick-6 run back. Always a bad sign for the under.
Still a lot of time though.
Matchbook, in-game betting wise, it's a good time to get down on VT now at a great + price. You should have opportunities to at worse hedge out, and lock down profit

vt drops an Easy td, and they throw kn a td. what a ridiculous start. vt ha wide open players all over the field, but they drop tds and then throw'em to kn.

Just gives me an opportunity now to get VT at +160 on Matchbook.

VT now +260 now on Matchbook, and that is just SU.
I put a few $$$ on it. If momentum turns, you should be able to hedge out. Then again if KU goes on in a route you never get a sniff...Still a long way to go though, and I think VT will make this a game.

Yeah; this could be a situation where you never get a sniff..It happens..VT needs to score on the next possession, or its pretty much lights out.

Yea that Under got a little dicey with VT running the ball out of bounds every running play and burning their time outs trying to force a punt.

Kansas does not have the killer instinct though. They had a 1st down at the 44 with .59 left and ran out the clock??? WTF? They got a decent FG kicker and just needed 20 yards. That attitude will get you beat.

kn has a pretty bad fg kicker, now 2 of 6 from beyond 40. kn has gotten this far by limiting their mistakes, i suppose they were comfortable with the 10 point lead knowing they get the ball to start the 2nd.

KU looks far superior here. Just need to finish it off in the 2nd half now.

My matchbook in-game play at +260 is looking better and better...Get VT to take the lead, and all the panic bettors will flood in, and I can lock in profit.
