Here in Europe..its a story about Vince Young...so whats the boards opionion? Should a quarterback rush so many yards? Star or ?

Anyway, the guy was involved in a car crash as a young boy, going through numerous exercises to get back on his feet. Also, he was a gang member

The 60 minutes interview aired here in the states back in like September I believe.

I'll be the first one here to admit I was wrong about Vince Young being a bad pro QB.

This kid overcame a ton of struggles throughout his life, including the gang banger stuff. Then again he grew up without a father and lived on the wrong side of the tracks. It's kind of an amazing story really in regards overcoming the surrounding elements.

As far as his playing abilities and skills as being a mobile QB goes. I feel that Steve McNier and Mike Vick pretty much defined that theory in regards to being successful rushing the ball if the option presents itself.

I understand this Sunday's (Jan 6) edition of the show will include an interview with Roger Clemens they recently did at his home just outside Houston. Clemens is also supposed to hold a press conference in Houston on Monday. In addition to the whole steroids accusations, the buzz is Clemens will announce his retirement - Again - and start fulfilling his personal service contract with the Astros. Should be interesting to say the least.

Vince knows the writing is on the wall. The chance of being successful longterm as a mobile QB inb the NFL doesnt exist.

This year he sat in pocket more and was less likely to run. Teams were also prepared for him more this year and his average rushes were alot less than last season.

if he cuts the INT's and learns to sit back and throw more he make a good career for himself.

    Time will tell...
He did overcome a hell of alot and I respect that...love seeing feel good stories from athletes rather than the wasted talent ones...

Hope he suceeds longterm and builds a great career.

The lawyer for the trainer stated that he will sue Clemens in regards to his denials and 60 minutes interview. He stated that is a lawsuit he will be able to bring Clemens under oath and question him. Stay tuned.
