Default Rockets/ Celts: Overreaction to McGrady’s absence?

I like that over 180 on the Celts. Both teams coming off a little rest. Houston’s first stop after two home games avging 93 points. Still good number on the board at 180 - 180’. If Houston covers they are going to need to score. If they get blown out could be some valuable garbage time for players who don't normally get FGs.

    Thoughts?

It depends if they can find somebody to score other than Yao, and then if they can score when Yao is on the bench. Bonzi Wells has jumped in to be that man at times. It just seems that ever time that Yao and Tracy are out, everybody looks at each other wondering who's going to shoot. I see Houston scoring 75-80, but if its a classic Celtic blowout, that'll be enough to make the over.

Definitely agree, although I see it as just having average-level value. Games with Houston can slow to a scoring crawl at any time, against anyone.

But yes in general I think this line is several notches too low.

the #1 (boston) vs the #6 (houston) defensive teams in the league. line seems about right to me...i like the under a bit.

I'm going to make a bolder prediction and say Yao gets in foul trouble early. If the Celts can knock down a few making the perimeter D play up it will set up a whoopin.

Line down to 180 so best # still alive.

The best play in this game is the Celtics in the 2nd quarter, there is a tremendous system I have for certain home favorites bigger then -10.5 the Boston fits into, its hit 71% this season, it’s my top play tonight.

Rockets aren't even trying. After a 7-4 lead they allow Boston to go on a 36-13 run. A college team can do better than that.

I didn't see it either but box score suggests they whooped up on them in the first (Congrats crazyl) and coasted the rest of the way giving most of it back.
