In evaluating this game outside of meteors or even meteorological events, I like the focus on the bowl records of the respective conferences involved in this matchup.
I see the SEC is 6-2 this bowl season and Big 10/11 is 3-4 but that is an incomplete picture. Since the sexy ACC is geographically closer and typically more gay-friendly than the deep south it is important to add in their 2-5 record giving the Big 10/11 and ACC an overall record of 5-9. Since the SEC's record of 6-2 has been previously established as being piss-poor, that makes the 5-9 Big10/ACC bowl record very strong by law of opposites. Therefore, OSU is the easy and logical choice, all meteors aside.
